i adopted a poor robo today. as in just now. the previous owner was like. worse case ever. the poor baby was kept in a cake box with a bowl of water where tortoise food is in it as well. i swear a few more day later the baby will die. i have to go out later to get the baby a water bottle. robo is so cute n tiny. i have never handle one before. i have always been a syrian fan. the baby jumps so fast and runs very very fast. cant get to hold it yet!!

well it might not be turtle food... it might be pellets.. and a bowl of water is no problem.. i use a bowl of water for mine as well , a custom made cage. In the wild do u think they have bottles? Thats why its okay to use a bowl instead of a bottle.

I think is just because of hygienic purpose to use bottle over bowl...
Sometime they ran over the bowl n causes the water to wet all the place... smile.gif

^^ i was trying to say a plastic bowl from kfc mash potato with water mix with tortoise pellets in it. i don't find it okay to feed a hamster that way. maybe some people may think it is okay. but i don't think that way.

^ true. the whole place was wet. and magazine papers were used as shaving. haha..

Bottle is cleaner because the water sure got a lot of bedding in it after a while. Then the hammy also dun want to drink the water already.

My hammy cage got no where nice to put them on. I want a nice shelf for them high up so they can see us perfectly. I felt that they are more timid if i put their cage on the floor them up high on the table.

XD I want the best for them. My hamster now are all too manja dy. So many things for them to play until they want to fight over a house. I already gave them two houses and they still fight for the igloo one...Haiz.
