JHW: $300 is a great price bro for the SLR. Most of it now are upwards or $400.

Tax...that depends on how your seller does it. Lol. If they declare actual value, ofcourse will get 10-15% tax but if they declare lower value, then u could escape the tax.

haha, last time got 1 parcel less than rm500 oso kena la, went there and checked...officer there realised it was a mistake...wasted my time and money

yea. kinda up to luck...or how sharp those officers are. My R8 from germany didn't get released so I thought I would have to pay tax. It turns out, there was no invoice so I just bullshit that it cost RM300. Lol. In the end, the invoice was on the underside of the box...so those officers didn't check properly.

Safe. i everynight on aircon de, and since my cabinet is enclosed with small gaps in btw, even if i off during morning, there is still cold air inside which i can feel even when i come back evening time..

Feels that aircon temp will not cause bubble as bad as the hot humid weather..

ALL my models are in my room...which is air conditioned. And...it's still okay...so I assume it shouldn't have any problem.

From ebay. This CMC SLR is in grey colour and the box has pulled apart at the bottom and is reduced in price for that reason.

Btw, I can only use AA and Kyosho as benchmark. How is CMC like? Above, same or below?

aquila: CMC is way above Kyosho and AA..

Aquila: CMC is probably the best diecast you can get. Exoto and Bauer would probably beat it interms of details but they can't compete with CMC interms of price. You can easily get a CMC for Zonda R price but the Zonda R has plastic everywhere and terrible mould lines while CMC's are pure zinc/zamac.

Anyway, just did a small mod on my GTO.
