use credit card cash advance would be much easier and flexible, cash out and balance transfer to other card with 0% rate. Total interest paid much lesser and get your money much faster, less document required when apply credit card compare to personal loan

Regarding RHB Easy loan, for example total 15K loan with 3 years tenure and the monthly installment would be RM565 total up would be RM20340.
If after paying 6months installment and plan to make full settlement, how much do I need to pay back to the bank?
Do I still need to pay the full amount which are RM20340 or the interest rate is based on reducing balance means the total amount will be less than RM20340?

I just got to knew that I'm eligible to take loan 11K for 3years, but I plan to settle it within a year.

If you are able to settle it within a year that would be good .. will the bank charge you for early settlement ? smile.gif

You're able to settle it after 6 months otherwise RM200 penalty will be impose. I plan to settle it within a year or less than 2 years. After 6 months I'll pay back 4-5K and balance of the loan will pay by installment probably settle it within 6-8months.
Is this a good choice since RHB allowed to get cash on the spot, it just that I'm worry may pay too much interest at the end.

Are you referring to the penalty that they will charge RM200 if you aren't able to settle in whole amount within the 1st 6 months from the loan approval date ? Not sure will they revised the interest rate if you are capable to settle the amount in wholesome.

No. The penalty will impose if settle the full amount before 6 months. After 6 months you can full settle without charges.

If that's the case .. then for the 1st 6 months repay them according to the scheduled calculations .. after that, still carry on to repay them accordingly. In the background save the excessive cash you want to clear the outstanding balance. Till you are ready then clear it one shot.

I assume that the bank will not revise the interest rate as its already fixed upon the loan amount, right ? smile.gif

Yes, the interest rate is fixed but it's reducing balance.
Then I gonna repay them accordingly for first 6 months, then repay 4-5K and balance with installment which last 1/2 - 1year.
Then might save the interest charges

I just received a phone call from someone claiming to a Standard Chartered bank officer who wants to offer me personal loan.

They require a photocopy of my IC before they can check how much I'm eligible to borrow. I declined the offer and they asked me to call back the number if I reconsider.

This is probably a scam since the person was speaking in Mandarin. Here's the phone number +6052207933 for reference.

Saw MBSB Exec_i package at 3.5% interest.
My salary is 2500+2500, 2 employers and both contributed EPF monthly. One of the employer is public listed company and the other one is SME.

I would like to borrow RM 100k for 20/25 years tenure. I want use the money to invest into my share.

Anyone got any comment on this?

THIS RATE IS VALID UNTIL END OF MAY 2012.

There's a side requirement that you need to work for your current company at least 6 months & your previous company at least 2 years as minimum. Also you must work within the same industry/field.
