should be.. because its ping that cause lag, not speed.. though speed did some effects but ping is the main culprit..

i played bfbc2 on my throttled broadband (128 kpbs), noticed no difference than full speed..

if ur speed is not enough, u wont be able to join the server and if u could it will be very laggy.
dont believe go try joining a server using a dialup modem

That's a bit optimistic don't you think? I think maybe nearer to 1600+ for pre-orders alone. But it's already quite a number to be honest. How long will this game last though? Will they add more expansion packs or they just drip a few DLCs here and there? Hopefully post release support will be good as I won't be getting this until next year. Thank God for smaller patches though. The patching system for BFBC2 is stupid and unnecessarily large!
