i doubt Fragnetics will not have some beta servers up.

just skip vista and go windows 7.

now only i know even if Fragnetics set up a beta servers, we will not get a beta key to play. why EA like to spoilt our enthusiasm. a full month wait until Oct 25 is so torturous.

We pre-order BF3 for nothing.

can have more sleep at nights before Oct 25 then.

it is the opposite. We will/may not get the beta code although the Spore servers is confirmed ON. So if you can download the beta from Origin, you are not given a code to install it. So definitely cannot join any servers in the world.

why so many want to go MAX? All this while I was playing high in BC2 but i tried all LOW settings since last week and my KDR improve as my hitreg improve a lot. Now less situation that i empty the whole clip in close range behind an enemy and he has not much damage then he turn to me and few hit i died. later check the kill cam, he still has 30% of health. Now at low setting, at least i will bring the enemy down with me.

i can play at high but if there is too intense fighting, sometime there will be hitreg problem. Worst case - crash to desktop. So i tried to play at lowest settings last week and surprise to find out it actually can improve my gameplay. Coz lately i got lag spike quite frequently so i change the settings to check whether it is my computer problem or streamyx problem. Conclusion: IT IS DAMN STREAMYX PROBLEM - coz although at lowest settings, i got kicked from Fragnetics coz of high ping - 280ms++ , my first time being kicked from Frag since i started playing the game. But changing to lowest settings do lessen the jerkiness when there is intense fighting around.

quite a few veteran BC2 players also play at lowest settings with state-of]the-art machine. mine is just an average old PC.

this is just a joking casual remark from some one and you take it seriously?

wow... i got the recommended card. but most likely will be playing it in lowest settings anyway in multiplayer.

it will after you install it. I bought the DVD version of BFBC2 and after i install origin, without doing anything, origin automatically detected the game and included it in. Now i can launch BFBC2 right from Origin.

wow... why there are so many conflicting reports - some say we will have our origin login as soldier name for BF3 while some other say we can create a new one.

i think for the digital version, you can still get the "Limited Edition" till 25th October or even further.

Main reason for me to get pre-order is the other goodies - T-Shirt, poster, etc. Thought can get early beta access like pre-order for BFBC2 previously but i think i just have the wrong perception. But playing it one day late is not a big deal.

noob question - haven't used origin before: so after we download the installation file, can we copy it? I mean does it let us decide where to save the file? Or is it like BFBC2 update - it will just download and install - we will not know where it save the file (of course the offline version can be saved and use later).

Asking this as I am thinking of copying it to my brother so he does not have to download the whole thing again.

to me the early access is just to download the huge game file earlier. Submitted my details at EASG facebook too - finger crossed.
