download the dxkp9 fw from sammobile......use odin, juz put the .tar file in the pda section n then start

no need to put latona.....just run odin n put the file in the pda section

is it ok to upgrade from european fw?
any conflict?

i do not encounter any conflict when flashing it.....

Just set the file in respect of PDA and start the flash. Then it's all done!

how long upgrade needed?
my battery left 10% only.. don't dare upgrade now as they say recommended fully charge.

but i tot usb is charging it

For me it just finished via kies.took abt 1hr. Don't notice much chg except Gps is really fast to lock.within 10s. under my appt balcony with abt 120deg view of the sky.
Crap. News n weather app gone!

If you left 10% you better don't flash it because the flashing procedure consumes a lot of battery and if your battery goes empty in the middle of the process, you are doomed.

I normally flash my phone when the battery is at least 60%, just personal preference.

how to root ah? cuz i did tried root my phone after upgraded to 2.3.5... but cannot success...

for rooting, u have to use CF-ROOT i think.

its so fast to lock, i can't manage to test it while car is moving lol. (from the time it takes to start the app to press the accelerator pedal already lock!)

I *think* papago voice navigation also can run already (didn't force close from home to work) but will test this again on the way back from work today.

Morning i tried the GPS, so far better than my froyo lo i can say , need sometime to lock target.

btw do you guys know how to solve the "insufficient memory space in device" when downloading huge apps in android market?
