Superclick one cannot root after flash to official 2.3.5

did that yesterday night, yes can root, and the file for memory swapping works too.

flash using CF root... i think SOC can't root the phone since the last few fw release..

why after flashed the dxkp9 tar file the phone keep stuck on samsung galaxy SL screen?

stuck for quite a time already almost 10-15 minute

Why isn't Kies detecting my phone? Can someone pls help me? :-( just downloaded the latest version of Kies fron the Samsung Website n it is not detecting my fone :-(

you might need to use TW launcher and also select "Samsung Kies" in USB setting

Is XXKPN = DXKP9 > XXKPM?

i have did what u said but now kies is saying my device is not supported by Kies 2.0. WTF???????!!!

wifi no change. I'm gonna leave it ON 24/7 to see if SOD occurs but not having high hopes.

Papago navigation with voice is still crashing but the occurrence has dropped a lot. Used to crash after 2-5 turns but now can navigate almost 30-40 turns.

I find my Launcher Pro Plus not so smooth as before now and even TW Launcher seems smoother a bit, though its not as loaded with as many widgets. Need some time in the toilet to try this (yeah its my throne and the only place for daddy to have peace and quiet)..

i had to flash to XXKPE then flash DXKP9 again
with a clean install, CF root is success
i think maybe it will need factory reset before CF-root since all apps/data still in DXKP9 coz i update through Kies, it keep for me

Hi guys, referring to my problems on Monday, it seems that my provider, U-mobile was the culprit with their so-called updates...they only apologised yesterday with free sms for customers and data for 3 days...great PR stunt ..shd fire the whole dept. Tell customers only after 5 days.

So there was never any problems with the phone (never killed the dealer, yet!) but will tell him to update the firmware for me since its an AP set. I will let u'all know what happens after that. Btw, anyone know if data kept in the external memory will be affected by the upgrade to the firmware since apps will be safe?

hi, is it a MUST to flash my i9003 back to original firmware to claim warranty?my power button jus spoiled..couldn set into download mode to flash back to froyo..im currently on xxkpm

u mean data at microsd card? Most probably no,but if u scare then just remove it then only update.

currently what is the best custom rom??

i cant tell which is the best 1 cause i didnt try all yet. But cranium v3.1 xxkph is quite good, i didnt try the xxkpm version yet.

p.s : I'm using cranium v3.1 xxkph

Can anybody with 2.3.5 test video playback of 720p MP4 encoded in AVC? To test, just find a YouTube video, copy the URL, paste in keepvid.com, download the 720p version, copy to phone, and play. On 2.2, it is too slow and unwatchable. This is the post with the reported problem:

just done upgrading to gingerbread, surprisingly everything in the phone remained safe while i only backup my contact. Even the memory card i swapped before upgrade, it's still showing me internal 16gb =)

now gotta figure out the cf-root things.. few question here

after i download the tar file wat i need to do? moved it to my phone or open it in my computer?
