Want to ask..

I've flashed my phone to XXPH, and it shows that the firmware already changed to XXPH. But, the theme/UI still a froyo.. It is normal? or I should install gingerbread theme/UI?
*
Did you flashed to clean XXKPE before flashing XXKPH? What is your firmware version before flashing to XXKPH?

You will still get the more or less same UI because you are seeing Samsung themed Gingerbread instead of pure Gingerbread.

Yes, this is for Mr. jauzi90. smile.gif

Nvm about the UI, the new XXPH GB already good enough, so far superb..  thumbup.gif
Battery life long last without using any battery saver application..  laugh.gif

DO NOT flash any firmware that is meant for other phone to your Galaxy SL or you will end up with a bricked/semi bricked phone for sure.
I just flashed XXKPH to my gf phone yesterday, it should be released earlier  doh.gif

2.3.5 available for kies update?
i check nothing is there
*
Haha. Well, 2.3.5 (XXKPM) is much better than 2.3.4 (XXKPH). Why?

1. Scrolling is super smooth
2. Camera is better (exposure)
3. GPS lock is very fast
4. Battery usage ok la (wifi and HSDPA)

Comments:

The phone is stable for last 2 days until this morning. After the charging was completed, the phone is a bit lag. I don't know why. After reboot also lag lag when typing something but other apps are running smoothly. Maybe because I flashed the XXKPM from XXKPH.

Trying for luck again, I'll reflash again tonight, from clean XXKPE -> XXKPM.

By the way, I'm using ODIN to flash and not Samsung KIES. How to flash using ODIN? Please check previous page(s). smile.gif

I updated mine to XXKPE->XXKPH->XXKPM, it was fine yesterday, until just now. My wifi doesn't work at all. There's a signal and connected, but the thing is i cannot browse the net or even open an application that requires the net. Any idea why or how should i fix this? Thanx in advance.
*
Try reflash again?

XXKPE then XXKPM.

By the way, I'm having volume problem since XXKPH. Flashed to XXKPM but still getting the same problem. My main volume is exchange with notification volume control. sad.gif

In sound settings, the incoming call volume is 7/7 and the notification volume is 5/7. But when I'm receiving a call, the ringtone volume is only 5/7.

To confirm this, I've tested with 1/7 incoming call volume and 6/7 notification volume settings, but the incoming ringtone volume is 6/7, not 1/7. Therefore, the notification volume still remains 6/7.

Backup your apps + data with Titanium Backup (Android Market), but before that your phone must be rooted.

papago x5 can use for 2.3.5?

i just flashed my phone today from 2.2.1 to 2.3.5
this is my first time flashed android phone.
some error happened during flashing but luckily not bricked. (scared if the phone bricked)
btw, how to root GB 2.3.5?
*
Use the CF-Root to root. Try to search for it in the xda dev i9003 section.
