WHat I meant, I dont want auto charge.... I want to decide when to charge; me being electronic fool, i dont belief in constant charging, its gonna reduce your battery life...

And its good, to once a while to drain out your battery fully; and then shutdown yoru phone, and fully charge it...similar to notebook as well.

ALL my previous Nokia phones I dont charge until, I need to do so, normally it last for 5-7 days (previously using N79).

Anyone with this problem? After my phone is updated to Symbian Anna, chinese letters can still be read and normal for messaging.

Glad to see many do agree...normally I do see more disagreement; anyways...its individual preference.....not only this I have odd behavior on electronics, since day one Ilearnt about it...to date, I dont turn off my computers, imagine my 20 inch HP monitor dated back 1995 still going strongly, although damn heavy and bulky!...just waiting for it to fail and yet to fail!

same goes with my CPU as well, never off, only reboot once in a month.

ok Back to Nokia, another thing I didnt like was the N8 camera doesnt feature sequence shot, infact on my N79 it was standard...or am I missing something?

But I did read, that using other camera application like CameraPro has it build in, wonder why Nokia missed it out...infact on my N79, that was my show case to my friends...disappointed.

Li-ion is diff from the older Ni-MH and thus no memory problem. The only problem wth this new gen battery..You kenot let it discharge to zero and overcharge it. So the best is ~ 10-20% . Also take out the charger after fully charge bcos Li-ion also sensitive to continuous charging.

i just format my e: drive and i did backup my games private folder. Now I want to copy back to e: drive but ovi suite mode dun allowed. any idea how to copy back the private folder into e: so that i got back all my scores and saved games back?

Download this from below link & install into ur phone via Ovi Suite. Then restart your phone. You'll see the Chinese characters display correctly after all.

for me i think the LION have different characteristic where if u drain it till shutdown it will have memory to not full charge the next round...

LIB or LI-ON battery major down side is heat...if all agree with that, then wouldnt constant charging (heat) would just deplete the life of the battery?

Hence my recommendation to only charge when its at 50%...just me.....

N8 don have burst mode... it's driver/module limitation, the N8 camera are good in macro and high resolution detail, no matter what 3rt party apps u use also u won't get a very "useful" fake burst mode, for me if u want the burst effect i rather recommend u to direct shoot video in 720p... N8 also not really "good" in low light without flash bcoz u can't set it shutter speed...
