already got rumours saying Belle will be official release by end of Oct?? If the official Belle can run fluidly within N8 then what make the new N9 special in term of hardware features??

Symbian can never replace meego. For hardware i doubt it can be that fluid @ 680mhz.

So the rumours are starting again eh? I remember last time pre-Anna there were all kind of rumours flying around about the date of release. So for this time, I'm sticking to what the official statement was, 4th quarter onwards. And I'm expecting it to be 31 Dec.

Of course I would be more than happy to be proven wrong.

but still like ANNA or even PR 1.2,,we've waited at least 1 month to get the updates...i doubt we'll get our BELLE on that particular date..

can just use joikuspot. belle is ok buy anything more u will have to get a new Nokia phone.. just like what Nokia wants.

leaked Belle already run like monyek so the official should be better...

for hotspot just use joikuspot or eZSpot...

Hi, greetings to many gurus here,

Does anyone know how to play the .dat (from the Video CD) files directly on N8? I've got plenty of Barney's VCD and other Children VCD I'd like to put them on my N8 for my young daughter.

Any programs available for purchase for the purpose? Or if convertion is needed, what's the suitable file format and in what resolution or bit rates? And what would you suggest the program is.

Have a N8 and held a N9. The N8 felt like a plum women and the N9 a sexy slim model. But who cares, the N8 is almost half the price and cooks great dinner....errr...photos..... so all is forgiven.

Have an N8,just owned an N9.......just could not N8's camera!!

Could end up buying a N9. N8's screen is impossible for me to type on. lol
Still the hacked belle is serving my N8 well

Symbian has quite some apps already. Enough for me at least.
