Well, if u want longer, battery life, most of the time you hv to switch off BT. I do use BT extensively esp file trf between N8 & my Notebook & so do BT headphone too but i switched off once I'm offline. Why wana waste BT resources haha. Everytime, I used BT, I also expect reduction in battery life, so it's normal lor..What I mean of you getting 3-4 days is wth normal usage of few calls 7 SMS & few BT file trf wth what app on 2G.. smile.gif

Life is to be enjoyed and not tied to petty things. Wireless is more convenience than wired anytime. Switching on and off BT so often is not an exercise to be enjoyed. As long as the phone can last 1 day is good enough so charging every night it is.

Can never seem to be able to input coordinates in Ovi Maps. Alternatively, you can use google maps with the default browser. Once you found the place, there's a text link to click to transfer the coordinates to Ovi Maps. Only when using default browser, ya.

Only Maps 3.06 allows you to search directly using coordinates while in Maps itself..

With older version, you have to create Landmark or Favorites using the coordinates and then select those in Maps.

Ok thanks for confirming that. I thought it could but I wasn't sure.
Why la they don't allow it anymore? It's so useful.

i copied this from nokia support forum.
it says use for Ovi Maps 3.04 (or 3.06), turn it into Offline mode

i've tried it and it works. remember to set the map to offline mode. in online mode sometime it work and sometime dont.

start with doing a search.

Using system, WGS 84 (lat, lon)

a coordinate like:

N 55° 35.559', E 13° 0.872'

Should be typed in to the search field like this:

55 35.559 n, 13 0.872 e

A coordinate like

51° 34' 57" N, 12° 34' 56" E

Should be typed in like this:

51 34 57 n, 12 34 56 e

Only seems to work when Ovi Maps is in Offline mode

One other thing is that the AV out/connector cannot be connected to a monitor; so its only the HDMI out for TV out? sigh

ANyone has tried?
