QUOTE(fahrur_07 @ Jun 15 2011, 06:24 PM) hi 1) The interesting thing about Maybank is the 0% BT for 12 months or more, I think it is the best available since it 0% interest rite?want to ask all sifu here 1)which one is better? maybank or cimb for balance transfer? 2)how to calculate the interest ya? 3)the interest is upfront payment? 2) If there is an interest, it will be based on the total sum. Whether it is upfront payment or equally distributed,it depend on the banks 3) No upfront payment for Maybank, not sure on others (I do sure that Public bank have upfront payment though but no 0% interest) |

Just for information.
1. Maybank does NOT accept BT application from another BT account. Strictly CARD ACCOUNTS only. 2. "How do you know it's a card or BT?" By looking at the account number the bank will know it is a BT or card. 3. Must I transfer 100% statement balance? No, you can transfer any lesser amount (min RM1,000). 4. Is there early settlement penalty? No, cardholders may make early settlement anytime without a fee. |

Thanks for the info man No problem man. Still good to have 6 months, can BT small amount But their instalment charge into credit card monthly. So I think we cannot pay minimum amount monthly and then settle everything at the end of BT tenure. This post has been edited by almeizer: Jun 17 2011, 10:48 AM |
