I think they create another account for BT but credit limit in your card still effected. Just the credit amount in credit card and BT was separated.

1) The interesting thing about Maybank is the 0% BT for 12 months or more, I think it is the best available since it 0% interest rite?
2) If there is an interest, it will be based on the total sum. Whether it is upfront payment or equally distributed,it depend on the banks
3) No upfront payment for Maybank, not sure on others (I do sure that Public bank have upfront payment though but no 0% interest)

Public Bank do have 0% interest for 6 months balance transfer.

Surprisingly I just notice but I am referring to the 12months one...Last time I checked when applying BT the offer and the brochure were different. Thanks for the info man thumbup.gif

No problem man. Still good to have 6 months, can BT small amount biggrin.gif

But their instalment charge into credit card monthly. So I think we cannot pay minimum amount monthly and then settle everything at the end of BT tenure.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I think you can do that rite. The statement still calculates you the minimum amount which less than the required payment if i'm not mistaken (of course based on overall spending la) hmm.gif

Yes statement will have minimum amount (include other spending). But if just pay minimum amount, the remaining will have normal CC interest charge on next statement. Unlike some bank BT with separate BT account, can pay minimum amount without any interest charge then end of the tenure settle all.

Hi. Any 0% BT without admin charges flying around now? Last time Alliance and most banks got 0% for 3 months but hardly can see any in the market now? Would like to extend my credit.

PBB also have BT 0% for 6 months.
