QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Jun 1 2011, 12:33 PM) I just BT from MBB-CC to CIMB-BT recently (6 months 0%) Does this mean, i pay the 6 months CIMB-BT every month. Then I can BT the remaining CIMB-BT back to my MBB-BT (12 months 0%) ??? Logically that can be done...

QUOTE(mar_soff @ Jun 2 2011, 12:47 AM) Hi Guys, I'm thinking to apply BT from CIMB 6 months plan but i dont have credit card with CIMB. My CC hutang now from RHB bank.Do i need to apply credit card from CIMB also? Or just submit the BT application form?TQ Firstly, you need to have a credit card with CIMB, and with sufficient Credit Limit to cover the amount to be transferred. Someone did comment you can submit your CIMB CC application and BT application together.

QUOTE(raul @ Jun 5 2011, 04:55 PM) anybody can confirm this? if so, gonna to make a BT with mbb soon. According to the MBB CS, the profit charge comes into play if you do not pay the monthly BT amount completely.

QUOTE(raul @ Jun 6 2011, 09:59 AM) ? the minimum payment of 5% ? You need to pay the monthly re-payment... Not 5% minimum. Assume you BT RM12000 to MBB, each month you need to pay RM1000 PER MONTH. Failure to pay the RM1000, you will be subjected to the Special Profit Charge (aka 17.5% p.a.) on the remaining balance... this where Maybank suck your blood

QUOTE(alex_cyw1985 @ Jun 13 2011, 10:57 AM) do we need to keep calling the CS to get update on BT application? It's always best to follow-up, especially if the Due Date is very close.

QUOTE(chemistry @ Jun 17 2011, 01:34 AM) Just for information. 1. Maybank does NOT accept BT application from another BT account. Strictly CARD ACCOUNTS only. 2. "How do you know it's a card or BT?" By looking at the account number the bank will know it is a BT or card. 3. Must I transfer 100% statement balance? No, you can transfer any lesser amount (min RM1,000). 4. Is there early settlement penalty? No, cardholders may make early settlement anytime without a fee. How confirm is Point #1 ?
