Anyone know which bank offering the best balance transfer program now?
*
Someone did claim SCB also offers 0% BT program. You need to call the CS to enquire (not on website)

That's good if you don't need BT. I hope I don't need BT too...Debts ...debts and debts...
*
I use BT to make "peanut" monies from the banks as recommended by sifus in this thread.

i assume u put an extra "0" infront of ur AMEX card number in the CIMB's BT form ya?
*
I did not put the 0... this is a manual processed form by humans.

This looks very good...
[attachmentid=2423346]
Can someone do some calculations for me how much would i actually have to pay? Sorry my math sux..
Comparing PBB with BSN...Assuming i pay full amount every month..

For Public Bank
BT Amount: RM5000
Upfront charges 1.5%
Interest: None
Duration: 12 months
Early exit fee: RM100

For BSN
BT Amount: RM5000
Upfront charges: None
Interest: 0.30% per month with 6 months of 0% interest/profit rate
Duration: 12 months
Early Exit Fee: RM100
Btw im abit confused about the minimum payment and interest rate charges...
Lets say if i take 6 months with 0% interest either from PBB or BSN and i only pay minimum every month, so the balance would it get interest charges?
From what i read here looks like there are no interest charges..If that is correct then on the 5/6th month i BT to another bank i would get even longer months to pay back??
*
Different banks applies the 0% part differently. Best to call each bank to confirm.
Eg.
Maybank's 0% 12-month BT : divides the BT amount into equal installment
CIMB's 0% 6-month BT : You can pay minimum 5% for month #1 to #5, full balance payment on month #6

For CIMB BT,

Once we fully paid a BT account, do we need to inform CIMBclicks team to remove it from CIMBClicks ?

Under CIMBClicks, I noticed the BT accounts created 2 months ago, the column "Outstanding Balance (RM)" and "Credit Available(RM)" no longer add to the actual BT total amount.... I wonder why.

Anybody with CIMB BT can check their CIMBClicks if your shows the same thing ?

Mine is the same and i have been paying every month the same amount.

eg: RM1200 / 6 = RM200 per month
*
If you intend to pay the same amount every month, you should have BT to Maybank which offered 12-month 0% BT program doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

I pay only 5% each month (1st-5th) to my CIMB BT account and full balance payment on 6th Month.... rclxm9.gif icon_idea.gif wub.gif

Good question, if not, ronnie's CCRIS record would have a long list of BT accounts, hahaha
*
Does BT accounts get listed in CCRIS in the first place ?

That's something I didn't check at BNM... Maybe should pay a visit to BNM.
How often can we print the CCRIS ?

It's additional 20 days from Statement Date of the 6th Statement you receive to avoid BT interest.
