For CIMB BT program, if we cancel the principal CIMB card, do we need to settle all remaining BT accounts in one go ?

I think so.
Balance transfer account is attached to credit card account, because it withdraws credit limit from our credit cards.

Speaking of this, my mother managed to maintain her DirectAccess Premier Plus Account (PPA) despite the termination of her DA supplementary card. This PPA is indeed an ideal choice for those who have difficulty maintaining certain fund balance in the account.

Added on June 28, 2011, 1:55 amI called and asked DA CS just now. Extension of 0% BT is confirmed. Black & white statement has not been published yet however.
*
Why would a DirectAccess Premier Plus accout be tied to a Direct Access CC ? We get monthly interest too.

Let's wait for official not on CIMB website....

Yes you can submit another CIMB BT application, after a few days.
Approval depends on your credit limit.

Is there a limit of BT account can be created by CIMB ?

for transfering cimb BT to other bank , what to fill in card expiry field since there is no expiry date for cimb BT account ?
*
Why do you need the Expiry Date ? Due Date is more relevant.

which bank has the following features on BT for an amount exceeding RM15k?

1.  longest repayment period
2.  0% upfront/charges
3.  best freebies?
*
There's no such BT program which offers features 1,2 & 3 together

1. Ambank 36 months @ 8.99% p.a.
2. CIMB 0% for 6-month, MBB 0% for 12-month
3. Ambank gives an iPad2

When I make the monthly 5% payment to CIMB BT account, the CL for the Principal CC doesn't increase, only increase in the BT account only... as per CIMBClicks.

Today completed another BT application with CIMB's 6-month 0%.
"AMEX + Visa + Mastercard combo"

There's another URGENT fax number for CIMB BT application at 03-20873688

That was really super fast!
Competition between MBB and CIMB  thumbup.gif  we the cardmembers are the beneficiaries.

Considering the person handling my case asked if I need it to be URGENT... I said YES, without a doubt.
And it does happen very fast. Definitely keeping my DirectAccess CC just for these 0% BT.

you talk like no talk.
I am impressed how you do that.

if a person can manage spending before apply cc,
he no need the cc in the first place.
*
Those who manage good finance, would get a CC to earn Cash rebates... and use BT to earn even more money.
