Hmmm, anyone having the home button not responding issue? Just bought my unit (2nd hand) weeks ago...

isn't you should check the phone before you buy? try change back to stock rom and see, i heard that some people flashed incompatible rom or kernel will cause home button malfunction

hi guys~ recently i just flashed my phone to milkys rom.

the cpu is set to run at 1200mhz :S

how do i set it to 1000mhz? i tried using voltage control but i can choose either 800 or 1200 :S

in advanced if i choose the 800mhz and slide it to 1000mhz my phone hangs then reboot back to 1200

help~~!!
*
i only familiar with pimp my cpu. just hold 1000mhz and select set at max. it is better to choose 1000mhz.

hihi, problem is, what is -50mV and so on? tongue.gif didnt overclock before. can't seem to find a guide for this as well  cry.gif
*
-50mv is to undervolt your phone, undervolt will gain more battery life. different phone have different setting for undervoltage so the UV value might be different on every phone. if you do not understand, dont OC or UV, it is risky.

The home button was okay until 2 days ago. Maybe should try to flash back to stock rom and see. Any straight forward method to flash back to stock rom?

i suggest you guys do what written in this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1175514
my launcher (GO launcher) always restarts itself after i close my apps or games. quite annoying if you ask me. but after i did that tweak, no more restarts. the launcher stays in memory.

i don't think that this is necessary if you have SGS II or phone with 768+ MB RAM. but our sgs have little memory (sadly) and because of that, sometimes our phone will lag. so this is really needed, i guess.

hi there

I am currently using MIUI rom.

i am having some issues with my galaxy S. Earlier in the day, i was not able to boot to my phone as it was stuck at the loading screen. I was able to load into recovery mode but however, my USB storage mount mode was not working as the computer wasn't able to detect it.

I tried going into download mode and the same thing occurs where windows was not able to detect it. I tried changing micro usb cable and try it out but the results was just the same. I tried changing computers as well and no difference.

Any guide out there would be greatly appreciated.

so you just want to boot up your phone? try go into recovery and factory reset? do you install driver in your pc? if not check first page for driver.

i believe the drivers was ok as the pc was used to flash other roms before. I cant do a factory reset as i am now stuck at the "Galaxy S GT-I9000" screen. Right now, i just want the phone to be detected in windows for download mode.

When the phone is powered off, i plug in the phone using the usb cable (connected to the laptop) and it boots up but stuck at the "Galaxy S GT-I9000" screen and not moving after that.

which MIUI version are you? before that can your pc detect your phone when you are on MIUI rom? my suggestion is install driver from 1st page and report back your result. MIUI/cm7 is different with photoshop rom. kies can detect photoshop rom but not MIUI or cm7. it need driver or androidSDK.

edit: from your situation, i think your phone run out of battery, try plug in charger charge for 10min and try go into recovery again.

I personally prefer Ext4 as I'm using it with Talon rom. The dev (Existz) puts a lot of upstream fixes (code from newer ext4 repositories) and applies the to the kernel making it very fast and efficient.
