Anyone here know how to stop the long SMS conversion to MMS for odexed JVR?

followed the link white elephant gave, downloaded the one for odex XXJVR, used 7zip extracted the mms.apk then used root explorer to cut and pasted... :-( no luck... it does not work.

After doing the above steps, i can't sms...

Any idea where i can get the modified mms.apk for stock odexed XXJVR that does not convert sms to MMS....

Ramad deodexed JVR, i saw it written as XXJVR/XXJVR/SWCJVR (CSC: SWC), does this mean that it is for swiss.. asking this is because i downloaded both JVR from sammy, i 1st choose to install the CSC with JVR, turn out to be a swiss one... then i have to reinstall again the other one which is a CSC for JVQ.

Just wonder u have any trick not to convert the sms to mms for stock XXJVR?

I tried while i was on stock XXJVR (sammy), but ended with bootloop. Not going to do that again, cos it is such a pain to restore all the apps

currently at simplicity and talon. as talon is with voodoo lagfix, if i wanna switch to speedmod, i need to create a disable lagfix folder in voodoo folder then restart, so tt it can convert back to rfs before i can flash speedmod right?

i am planning to go ext4 on speedmod. i actually converted it to ext4 when i 1st flashed to simplicity using th preloaded app, then i flashed talon.

or i can jz flash straight to speedmod now and it will automatically on ext4.

tt is wat i tot tt we can flash direct without covert back to rfs. but like u said, we always takut. Come to think of it, i hv not been ext4 for a long long time since froyo n speedmod came out. fon always with speedmod all this time.

flashed to speedmod, now i really know what i missed th most fr his kernel, th boot up speed. oh is there anywhere to check if i m at rfs or ext4 ?

i really think our thread is superb, question get answer almost promptly, i tried post something in sgs2, jeezzz... take forever for answer. hope to migrate to a new samsung together, so tt th best continue.

oh, i m stil happy with my sgs esp now with simplicity 0.33 + speedmod. askg sgs2 cos i oso mod around my wife sgs2.
