Flashed to GALNET instead...
Hopefully no more process.phone error anymore under CM7 rom. Battery really drain very fast using 3G, sigh. So far i think Galnet looks fine, same like previous actually. No FC so far, and quite stable, like using IPHONE... |

20 threads to read, that's a bit too much. I just have a quick question: those with GPS issues, is there a fix? Planning to get a 2nd-hand SGS but worried about the GPS problem.

QUOTE(jenwai @ Sep 20 2011, 11:16 AM) Ken, what about the SMS, Call Log and etc? u can use smsbackup for sms (first page does provide this info I think).. I use mybackup pro personally.. can backup sms, mms, call logs etc.. however the downside is after u delete an sms thread.. it remains a kosong thread there at the bottom.. but not an issue for me as it'll be cleared out whenever I reflash a new rom Can this be backupedu using AppMonster? QUOTE(jenwai @ Sep 20 2011, 10:09 AM) Pikachi01, Oops, forgot to reply about this. Probably due to sleep death. Are you OCing/UVing? Maybe you're doing that too aggressively. Do you have any scripts in your init.d?Thank you for your reply. I think I don't go for Root, I'm not as smart as you guy here. I did try to read the 1st page and there are things that I still can't understand. Anyway, I think I just use a Stock ROM. All I wan is to get rid of the Battery Issue only. Any other way to backup without Rooting? |

Sleep of death can be caused by a lot of things. Among other things are:- Misbehaving apps (XDA app once did that to me) - Aggressive OC/UV - Scripts The kernel cannot cause it by itself, unless the MIUI is running one of the CM7 nightlies that is incompatible. Check this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...=1244054&page=5 |

SOD is normally cause by BLN, softkey back light problem. but recently cm7 developers rebuild the source code of bln into default. for MIUI i useneo 16 WITHOUT bln untl today already a few weeks and no problem and never face any SOD. |
