YES. If the downloaded file after extract is broken into 3 parts - make sure you select repartition and the PIT file
If it is only a tar file, no need PIT and no need repartition

If the phone is new, battery drain will be obvious. If you run full cycle after a few times, will be better.

Playing game depends lo. I would say 10-15%.

For those using Mac, I have a solution for you to use ODIN without changing your computer. Download and install the Oracle Virtual Box here. Read the instructions.

Then install windows inside the virtual box and you can run it on top of your Mac computer, and you can install all kind of windows software inside and use it like in actual windows computer. Of course, you ll need to windows installation CD.

Likewise for those who wants to try OS-X/Linux on your windows, it is the same process.

i think just need to disable data. i recall there is an apps you can download... but forgot the name.

but i think searching for update does not take up a lot of data. you can opt not to update...

again, best to get data plan... smartphone without data plan is...

Or can use Heimdall if you're adventurous enough to do so. I used it during SGS1 coz of my ROM downloaded PC was Linux.

Anyone experience this issue? After turning off wifi after using, my 3G connection stops working (I can't online). I need to restart my SGS2 only the 3G connection is back to normal.

Hi interested in his phone. How long did you guys wait before rooting sgs2?

Aloha. Well, I just bought the galaxy s2 European version through ebay. As far as I know the telco Im using in US will not support the 4G speed for the unlocked phone. If I bring my phone back to Malaysia, do I get 4G through Digi?
