samsung gives out cheap earphones(my s2 fren say one), nokia is not android(u r asking for android i assume, since u post here), htc has overpriced beats audio.

Wow, Xiaomi looks pretty cool!  No keyboard, but a fat battery and a great CPU!  I wonder if the custom software has English mode.  I'll have to check it out at the market!

SME is selling the original G version in Malaysia. And apparently no custom roms are available for the G version yet.

So those who want to flash custom roms should go for the non G version.

Looking for a phone/tablet recommendation that can be conveniently used to pass my time or do productivity work. For example, easy and fast access to the internet(has to have 3g/wifi). Screen not too small(so i can read) not too large(till i can't put in my pocket).  ******* I will be using this a lot in the library or wherever with access to internet so i can study conveniently, searching up information on a smaller screen apart from a laptop. Battery life has to be a plus. Isn't laggy, touch screen, has a lot of access to different apps(for gaming, for work, productivity apps such as dictionary calender).  Has to be able to handle video well(able to go youtube etc, watch video clearly doesn't have to be SUPER AMOLE etc). Others are a plus ( such as camera etc)

Haha but sometimes it's not necessary for you to have dual core in your gadget. How many of us do actually need that much raw processing power? I bet not many of us. More importantly I'm only using it for light youtube, surfing, fagbooking and so on only.

I just use my phone for call & SMS but since Maxis is giving me a free phone so why not. I heard a lot about how great the S2 and i dont plan to change my phone for the next 2 years so if its possible, i want to get the "top of the line" now to limit the time frame from where it will be outdated 

Need sifu advise on getting Sensation XE - first time smartphone so bit of a noob...

so far only nexus s. galaxy w is not confirmed yet whether it will get ics or not.

I plan to buy a new phone by February (after bonus and angpow)...  Already decided on Android Samsung being priority due to the SWYPE Text messaging (unless HTC Desire S has this).  Budget below RM1200 (by february, so recommend me up to RM1600 phone, I believe it'll drop by then.

My uses...

- View word/excel/powerpoint (Editing would be advantage)
- PDF Reader
- E-mail (3-5 times a day checking)
- Occasionally light games (Eg. Bejeweled, Any Thinking game, Fruit Ninja, Ant Smasher)
- GPS is a Bonus but not necessary as I already have Garmin NUVI 1350.
- Min 5MP autofocus with Flash (zoom is an advantage)
- Fast web browsing
- FM Radio with RDS
- Wifi and 3.5G + Bluetooth.
- Facebook often (check 3-5 times daily).
- Skype (front facing camera a must) and Youtube viewer
- Battery life AT LEAST 1 Whole day with the above usage.
- Screen min 3" will do.
That's all.

Pls recommend me a phone with ALL OF THE ABOVE.

Actually there r some "swype" type of keyboard available in market. But I dunno whether androids can read word..excel...all those.
I think samsung galaxy R will serve u well but may have a rather small community support for custom roms, but if u dun play wit custom roms then it's alright

If the screen is too big, u can opt for motorola atrix as well..if among ur shortlist, xperia ray got the best camera...galaxy W got the fastest processor...desire S is rather overpriced but wins in build quality n maybe user interface

i am kinda confuse se ray or neo v. neo v bigger screen n cheaper price. galaxy w above my budget
