Is it true that for the best performance on nForce2 boards, keep the multiplier above 11x ??

I found it here ... the 6th line

I'm not sure about what they mean my keeping it above multiplier 11x for best performance. All the different athlon speeds out there got different multi.
So i don't know what is that statement based on....=D

Anyway i wouldn't really bother about that.

the rest of the article is pretty good guide on finding the limits of ur proc.

According to the chart below, there are 2 uniques Barton that is running on multiplier lower than 11x that is very rare.

I guess what it mean by keeping the multiplier above 11x is for better stability?

Those running below 11x r having fsb 200MHz by default. wink.gif I don't think the performance is affected if we use lower multi (normally we put lower multi to increase fsb)

Gone to the bottom of the second page with no more pages to go too.

Well looks like this one is going to retire soon.

even the Athlons has stopped production a while back already.

Cheers to the old horse!

someone told me to scratch all the L6 bridges..but that causes your pc to start at x24 which MIGHT cause some of ur components to go boom =)

Only works on VIA or SiS boards, not on NF2 boards.
