hi, just want to ask a noob question: i made the recovery discs, so if anything happens to my notebook next time (touch wood ) i just boot from recovery discs and follow the procedures? that's it? btw, is the OEM key included inside the recovery discs? or do i need to dl it using software shown on the first page? thx

O.O actually the recovery disk is more like an image of your hard disk at factory default if i am not wrong. So if something went wrong, just restore your whole hard disk to become like when you just unwrap your dv6 except from those physical scratches that cannot be undone.. lol..

I don't think that is possible. It's better to buy your laptop without a Beats Solo or sold off your Beats Solo and get yourself a Solo HD instead.

I think the consensus is around RM 500. You can search around the garage sales and see what are the price they offer out (those who bought it with DV6, not those who sell the retail/AP version).

Erm guys, actually i dont really know how to use the recovery discs that i made. When something "catastrophic" happens and you need to use the discs, what are the procedures?

Put in the disc, press F12 or Esc, change the boot sequence to Optical Drive, then just follow the instruction from the disc..

120W (609941-00) is not sold in malaysia. The other options are from HP website 90W*I have tried using a 90w ac adapter from another HP series. I am able to charge but it is slower than the 120W* 150Wor maybe 3rd party chargers available in the market...i read from other forums that they can use dell 90w adapter which have the same socket with us but not sure about the long term effect..
