Hi. I've been using Android phones for more than a year but it's only recently that I've been exploring updating and rooting.

I own a Cherry Magnum. I used Wellcom's 2.2 for a while and was very happy with it. Now I'm running on Cherry's 2.3. Last month, after a few weeks on it, I suddenly experienced really bad lag (on wakeup etc etc). No amount of factory resets fixed it. After not touching the phone for a few days, it just suddenly went back to normal. I rooted via CWM last weekend and experienced the terrible lag once again. In other forums, they said Cherry's 2.3 is really buggy and advised me to use CSL's or Wellcom's. I unrooted the phone (using original recovery.img) and tried to flash CSL's 2.3 (through pressing power+vol up+vol down) but my phone rejected it. So I'm going to try flashing Wellcom's. Is there anything I should do before I do this?

Need advise. Thanks heaps smile.gif

i think more be better if you using SUT L3 for flashing compare to via CWM...refer at page one how to use SUT..

Glad to hear the new custom RC1 rom from Tj is great...........one question though. Does it still maintain the fm radio that stock csl rom offers that operates when the headphone is plugged in. Really needs it as I use it 8 hours a day.

what do u mean by any recommended seller for this phone?

Added on August 17, 2011, 6:55 pmHi guys howdy?

just wanted to check with u guys especially for those who got using papago X5. it seems like the whole thing halt quite a moment before it go/shown to the actually location. example, when i run papago x5, it'll announce "satelite searching complete"...usually, as i known so far, as long as this phrase announced, we'll be shown on our exact location already on the map. but, my case here, after the phrase, the whole thing still shown somewhere in subang and even when i starting cruising, the whole thing aint moving yet. until a certain of time, baru it "shown" my actually location.

adui...causing me sesat only doh.gif hahahaha

so, any advice dear sifu out there? smile.gif

your advice is much appreciated notworthy.gif

Hi, if u want to use gps navigation......it is like this no solution. Your phone is tracking at least 5 gps satellites before it can lock your position so be patient and make sure u are plugged in a car charger as the multiple tracking really drain your battery. What I do is, before I go into my car I will switch on the gps if I need it for my trip before switching on papago.
