WARNING: Make sure you have at least 50% battery capacity before continue!
1) Extract the ZIP file, rename the .nb0 file to firmware.nb0
May I ask a stupid question?
>> rename the .nb0 file to firmware.nb0
Is it exactly rename to "firmware.nb0"? Or the "firmware" is the name other than "firmware"?
Because I rename to exactly "firmware.nb0" and this can't work sad.gif

The .nb0 is the file extension, if you hide file extension in Windows you don't need to do it. But I suggest you do the second method because the first method is problematic and save you the hassle by not having to rename the file and will ALWAYS work
*
Hi guys, i need your help rclxub.gif . first of all, i follow the second method. (the ROM i use is: WellcoM-A99-V318E.nb0)
I already enter download mode by pressing volume up and press power button

Weird!!! When I follow the second method to change to "WellcoM-A99-V318E.nb0", it show me the error msg of "The software image file does not match with your phone software..."

But, when I follow the same method to change to "FB0-318D-0-5012-A03.nb0", it success update my phone.

The important thing is, is there a way for me to change to "WellCom A99 2.3.4 318E ROM"???

bro u got a step by step guide on how you backup your phone up to flashing the ROM?

the flashing part I get it la.. just the back up part.. dam blur. online xda all give so many stuff about NAND and downloading more files.. but Najmods just said need to follow instruction on first page.. first page shows more of how to flash the rom but not rly on full backup+recovery (of d apps + data that i want to recover)

sorry im really new to this..

*EDIT: my phone lagging like shit n all I did was replace the recovery.img with the CWM one.. and some auto install adb stuff on my phone x.x

edit latest: replaced the img n still lagging..sigh.im getting the 4-6 sec lag when i click the side lock button on the phone..i suspect its the adb drivers that auto installed. argh..help
*
Actually, I'm new to android, too.
But if you want to backup your phone b4 flash to new ROM, u can try to use "MyBackup" or "Titanium Backup". If your phone was rooted, then u can have more features on both of the apps mentioned above to backup your phone data/apk etc.

PS. I didn't backup my phone b4 I flash to WellcoM, since I just bought it not so long and not much data & apk in my phone need to backup smile.gif

---

I also faced the lagging issues b4 I flash to WellcoM ROM. What ROM u using now?

Weird. For my case, after I flashed to WellcoM ROM the lagging issues no more. And, on that time, I not yet using V6 Supercharged.

Yes I use that SD booster although it doesn't matter which SD booster did you use because all of them do the same thing; changing the cache size.

Rule of thumb, don't instal too much stuff that you don't use. Fewer stuff = more free space and memory. Use Root Explorer to rename/delete stock apps that you don't like such as weather, stock market etc.

Penang prangin mall used to sell at RM699 (don know he bullshit me or not) somewhere around jun-jul.

BJ penang best i get is 970.

hopeless. even I tell them my bro in KL can get 799 in lowyat at the same day.

I got two phone from KL last few week.
*
In fact, b4 I bought this phone, I had surveyed at Prangin Mall, BJ & Bayan Baru. The cheapest price I got is rm999. This doesn't matter since the difference is only rm29.

But the only terrible thing is just after 1 month, the price drop till rm499 (during promo) (cheezzzz said he bought at rm399 during expo)

So, this make me think myself like an idiot to buy this phone at rm999. This is the 1st time I bought CSL phone, previously I'm Nokia fan.

In my experienced, there are no other brands like CSL, the price will drop so drastic in the short period. I think next time I won't buy CSL anymore. If I buy CSL in the future, I think I will buy an old model of CSL phone (coz can buy at cheap cheap cheap... price).

I bought this phone back in March 2011 at that time the phone was selling at RM1400.  I am happy with this phone even thou the price has drop drasticly.
*
Good to you if you think in that way, at least you won't hurt wink.gif
But not for me happy.gif
Since I learned from this lesson, next time if I still consider to buy CSL, I will wait and buy it during expo or special promotion tongue.gif
