im using digi prepaid, how to use mms function without using the data transfers ye? like last time in the older phones. i just couldnt retrieve a mms without using at least rm2 of data charges

Eh, AFAIK mms will use data/3G charge to be retrieve. No matter which phone model right.

Go to RCMix thread, scroll down to post #4, you can find camera mod there, there's a few in that post. Search for older version.

Yup, just extract camera.apk from runny 4.0.zip .. Then by using rootExplorer, move the apk file to \system\app and set permission to -rw-r-r and reboot your phone.

Maybe the one you flashed not suitable for runny 4.0

edit : found htccamera.apk.

for example, when i flash the flying effect thing, my wifi, signal, battery icon will change.
then when I flash a battery icon zip, i loose my flying effect.

similar prob like this. I flash a theme, i get nice battery icons. but then, when i flash the flying effect, i loose my nice battery icon. anyway to add flying effect into the theme?

any ideas?

It is because of different framework and systemUI for both flying transition and other icons.

Added on November 26, 2011, 1:35 amguys...I need some help in explaining the different states to me. there's wake, standby and sleep? or just wake and sleep?

in settings, there's sleep mode which can be set to auto, manual or never.

What do these settings do? Sleep mode in auto. Just now, i left my phone there like that. when i press power button to unlock it, I see my connection to maxis has disconnected. I used another phone to call my desirehd and I get voicemail. It's like my phone is off.

Only after a restart, then it connects back to maxis.

sleep mode was in auto. Last nite, I notice when i press power button to bring back the screen and unlock, I see that wifi will connect back to my router. it's like wifi is off when I switch off my screen. Is that sleep mode in action?

So what should the setting be. what's sleep mode and what does the time settings there do? Manual doesnt say anything bout this. Manual says sleep is press power button once to off screen and to wake it up from sleep is press power button once again and unlock.

Umm guys.... Looks like I'm in some prob. It's the 2nd time my phone disconnects from maxis and doesn't wanna connect back. When I try search for network, it straight away say error. It's like as if the network chip is switched off.

lol... you didnt do anything.

let's see what I did. flashed radio + ril. wifi was on and still connected to maxis. press power button to off screen. left it there for a while. press power button again to turn the screen on and found that no more connection to maxis. doesnt wanna connect no matter what. It's not no signal. old skool nokia next to it has signal.

restart phone and then it'll connect back as usual. and I cant make it happen again. happened just now about 5pm and also last nite about 2am.
