Let's take the tax out from Vios and City. They are cheaper than Inspira. The last I heard, Vios cost around 600k baht in Thai. Let me arrogantly assume that 10 baht = RM 1. Vios and City are cheaper than Inspira, without tax.

Let me tell you: Yes I hate people who cucuk or tailgate other cars. It's GODDAMN DANGEROUS!! I basically near got involved in high speed accident on the highway because some satria driver thinks that they are better than those Vios drivers. The satria cucuk the vios and I am just next to that Vios driver. Maybe the road is slippery due to rain, that Vios swing a bit and nearly hit me.

So you wanna play cucuk? Please think of other drivers on the road.  Especially when there are families on the road, not just driver themselves.
And what it has to do with Myvi? The distinct advantage of Myvi is because it's small, and easier to park. Do you think Smart Fortwo is good? Can it cucuk other car? is the handling superb? No. too bad it isn;t.

All cars in Malaysia is highly inflated. And people do not by cars mainly on the performance. There are other factors, such as reliability, durability, second hand value. Maybe for you performance is your main criteria, but your taste might be other's cup of tea

so does your views. to each his own, stop babling what you feel and lets get back to what this thread is all about, proton inspira.

remove tax? are you for real? or is this your 1st day in malaysia? i couldnt care less if it is inflated or not. what matters most in the end is MONEY and COST.

Ohh, this is new. I saw the review of Smart Fortwo by Top Gear, and it's basically not that good at handling.

Cars will eventually improves, sames as proton it will eventually improves. U are probably watching one of the very very old reviews of smart. Second hand value not much to comment now coz for me I feel second hand cars are all terrible, it really depends on how the 1st owner take care and protect the car. One most important factor how the owner drive the car. Even if you buy toyota or honda at second hand how do you know its still reliable? You are basically buying an old car/ problem car. I will never buy a second hand car coz I rather buy a new car and use it for 15 - 20 years at least i'm using and enjoying a new car. Selling a car at second is always a loss to me, I dunno about u guys but this is how I think.

You can't really trust Top gear's reviews to be honest. They are more towards entertaining, and even more obviously, bias. Thats why they are fun to watch. IF you want serious reviews, watch fifth gear instead.

You just need to get those car charger/usb adapter. The voltage that comes out of the cig lighter is the same, which is 5V.

While what you said is true, and most people know that it's true, but they still do not want to take chances. They rather take chances on second hand car. Brand power is another, mouth to mouth advertising is another (T and H owners basically are very proud of their car lol). Plus, money is important as it's their hard earn money. Skeptical is another issue.

Did you regret that you have bought Inspira? If not, then who cares what other people got to say about your car? biggrin.gif

Please dont talk about tax. Nothing is going to change. So what if the VIOS cost USD10 in US? You can buy it at that price? It don't matter what it cost overseas, unless you plan to leave Malaysia. So if you plan to hang around here, you just have to compare with LOCAL PRICES.

To tell u the truth I'm only here to learn and understand what can I do with my Inspira. If there is someone wants to know why i chose Inspira over T&H or other car manufacturer I'm willing to share if he is willing to listen. The only thing I dun like about is T&H owners come in and bash around and talk about how good is T&H when the price of the car is sky high and the product itself doesn't cost that much. Seriously as a consumer, of course I want the best value for money car. Its not like Inspira owners here never test driven before other cars be4 making any decision purchasing one.

Proton only have themselves to blame for the initial bad production quality in their earlier cars.....but while they have improved by leaps and bounds (at least we can now confidently use our power window without it failing miserably stuck), its hard to shed off the bad reputation it gained earlier, especially among the older generations.

It is still a rule of a thumb that no matter what car you buy, you need to research, test it and weigh the pro and cons.
