Eh if you get ur number plate means can collect ur car already ar. Cuz the car must have arrive and you agree to the chassis number baru can get number plate one. thats why SA usually ask u come to the showroom to inspect the car before you go register for number plate, in case if want to change car still OK cuz the number plate will be locked to the chassis number when registered.

then you get your car registration car yet? I'm not sure but my process with my SA is like this

1. I place booking fee with SA. SA proceed to order the cars from EON.
2. 2 days later, the cars arrive. SA call me to come to showroom and show me the car, we then inspect the cars, and then i choose which car i want. At this point the chassis number for all cars are known already.
3. I proceed to do checklist inspection (basically my list, as the SA's list is to be done AFTER registration, but can do his list "inofficially" also la)
4. Drive around the show room area to test the brakes, cornering, acceleration parking ability of the car. After this I commit that I want this particular car. SA note down chassis number and proceed with e-daftar and I sign it.
5. Next morning we meet up in JPJ. I got my registration card on the same day. Car is still with SA at this point.
6. After car number plate is ready and fixed. SA and I go to EON Service center together to do checkup. This checkup is the same as the periodical checkup as recommended in the book. SA pays for this. I think he did this cuz I was complaining to him about the power steering hose problem that the older model faced and asked him to prove to me that this car is free from that problem.
7. We go thru both our checklists, this time checking the accessories like antenna, radio, alarm, manuals etc.
8. I drive off after a handshake with the SA .

From booking period + loan to getting my car, took me only 4 days to gaodim the whole process. Could be 3 days actually but I was busy on the 3rd day so couldnt make it to JPJ on time.

I bought from EON SA. Apparently I heard Edar is now overloaded with orders due to the raya rush....so might be a bit slow...

Mmm...maybe you can ask him what is the current status now...maybe different SA got different way of doing things.
but since u got ur number plate u should get ur car quite soon already la cuz that's the final stage already.

Maybe ur SA need more time to hunt free gift for u

My SA give me the following
1. Umbrella (not yet give)
2. Full tank of shell Vpower
3. Shade (still looking as Inspira size is XL one )
4. Air Fragrance
5. Steering Lock
6. Free tint for top of windscreen (haven't go to the shop with him)

His Big boss give me RM50 raya packet as rebate to the car =.=.

Don't get poisoned too fast lah...later ur wallet cannot heal

So far I no meet any dugongs yet. but just now very sien alot of buses and lorries vroom pass me...that one i dont dare to poke lol.

Penang plate is PKF liao btw...

Be more muka tembok and ask la...Inspira not cheap car...their commission earned from this sure not little also....

Oh left out mirror, he gave me the wide mirror.

Haha...I was deciding between silver and white one....but the SA advise not to take silver cuz silver other ppl hard to see when heavy rain...

I think he got a lot of experience in this as he was into car modifications too last time. Maybe that's why he got contacts for various things. Even SC he just walk in and the mechs entertain us immediately @@.

Most importantly SA must know what he's selling . Otherwise susah loh..if you want you can always bully ur SA by asking him to explain what is CVT, what is the difference between 16 valve and 12 valve...

Yeap, I was there when LKW moved in. That time everyday got 2-3 accidents, all at that very same T junction (the one with the traffic light now)

I think that stayed there long enough will know about the 2 myvi accidents, 1 almost got cut in half.

I buy from EON ma...Edar stocks have to wait longer

I think the numbers are really not in order. Mine is 3xxx, but on the documents its stated that its made and assembled in July 2011, my registration card showed the same thing. And it looks to be in much better shape than the other 8xxx chassis available (those got ngek ngek ngek sound when I open the door).

Btw, ur SA does have control over the chassis number to a certain extent, when he place the order for ur car, there is a pool of available chassis number for him to choose. When my SA placed the order, he placed an order for 3xxx,5xxx and 2 8xxx. When the 4 cars came, both the 8xxx look worse (one got ngek ngek sound when open door, the other engine sounded very loud when started the engine) compared to the 3xxx.

The 5xxx, is funny, its assigned to a 1.8 but came a 2.0P model pulak.

No matter what the numbers, seem that really come down to ur luck .

What DM3 makes sense too, if that's the case, I'll just take xtra care of my baby .

generalhwh: if you have any doubts you should still voice out to ur SA. Remember that they are earning a big fat commission from selling the inspira to us, and we deserve to squeeze every single ounce of service from him.
