How about I greet you?? Long time no see... also a Legend user. Poison my friend to get S2 who in reverse poison me back to upgrade after seeing the SMOOTH Flash10. Cant resist since got promotion to buy @ RM1899 for 1+2 years warranty from SENQ.

I got no ewarranty msg from samsung as well for my 3rd exchanged phone... still not yet call the shop to ask...
but i got ewarranty msg for the 2nd exchanged phone...

guys you can register for yourself. the shop i bought did nothing(at least i think), then i go to samsung site, follow everything in the warranty card, 3 days after that, i got a sms from samsung with my warranty expiry date. do note i bought the phone around 15th of July, i registered myself on 3rd August and got the sms on 6th August. on the sms it said warranty is from 3rd August 2011 to 3rd August 2012. got what i mean?

Why so paranoid over this warranty issue ?? IF you are so worried, just maken sure you keep the receipt
I have been to Samsung Center 5 times and in all occasions need not show proof of warranty/no need even show receipt.
Same thing goes for all my previous HTC ; I just too lazy too followup with all these e-warranty, worrying about whether they sms me or email me back. I still can claim warranty including replace motherboard ( some more is AP set )

i didnt give a damn bout warranty, hence rooting on first day without asking whether i should root or not. well i did register it cuz many people making a fuss over it. and that day i was bored so i opened the box and tried to play around with it. haha.

Hi, did any one get Tegra2 processor i9100 here?
I suspect I got my S2 come with Tegra2 1.0GHz dual core processor rather than 1.2Ghz processor because when I installed the SetCPU it shows my processor model to be nViDia Tegra.
BTW, how to check the processor's model?

Why dont you just call the SENQ hotline or any of their retail shops near you : look it up at their website. I am very sure different retail outlets has different stock levels
Sometimes I am amazed at such questions - which is similar to asking which Maxis center has stock ??
I was at Senq 2 weeks ago in Seremban Jusco - there were several sets available than

what kernel you use? if speedmod then yes it'll not detect your exynos.

You can use the app QUICK SYSTEM INFO to check ; launch it /Basic Info/View PropertiesDevice -- see what is listed at CPU ?
Exynos are listed as " armeabi-v7a"

mine even macho..register my sgs2 with maxis using iValue package..got email from maxis that my iPhone(suppose to be SGS2) extend 2 years warranty...hehe...when i buy, they say just claim from SME... doh.gif doh.gif

Mine check through AnTuTu and Quandrant in system info. Both stated Armv7 rev 1 (v71).
Surely exynos ~~ lol ~~

i am using unifi, but i use sgs2 connect it very slow, i test on mamak unifi very fast, what's my unifi problem actually? help pls

Actually many warranty claims are overblown and raised by paranoids. Many of my friends was surprised that I can claim warranty services/repairs for KL AP sets in Spore - and is FREE and NO NEED to show proof of purchase/receipt. This happen to my Galaxy S. I bought this at Lowyat ( one of the shop - AP set ). After 2 weeks there were some issues with the bootup and sometimes cannot boot. The shop took my set and ask me to fill up my details in the warranty card ( before that it was left blank).

The guy told me, he will try to do it within a week. A week later, called him and he told me KL service center dunno how to fix it and he has to send to Singapore. A week later, call him he said not sent yet to Singapore as they need to wait for accumulation of sufficient sets to send down to save costs. He said probably another 2 weeks. When time due, call him again - this time he said still in his shop. And this guy now tell me an amazing story . He now said because I have sign up the warranty card under my name - he cannot do it. I have to personally go to Singapore to do it. What crap ~!!! After arguing with him., I gave up and just ask him courier it back to me. I went over to Spore and got it fix within 2 hours and it was free. I need not show any proof of purchase and receipt. Infact when the technician open the set, he saw SIRIM sticker and immediately knew I bought in Msia
After this experience, the same phone, I sent in again 2 more times due to flash rom bricking - again it was reflash back for me free and again I need not show any proof of purchase

SGS II ( UK set ) - send in to to check and repair the connector - again FREE. And again need not show proof of purchase

Galaxy Tab ( AP set ) - rooted and flash with cook rom - sent in to KL Plaza Berjaya flash official Gingerbread rom - FREE service

HTC Touch Pro ( AP set, bought at Subang Square ) - with cook rom - sent in to check poor GPS ; motherboard replace FOC.

Apple ipod Touch - jailbreak failure , whole phone jam. Send in to Machines ( Lot 10) - reflash rom again FREE . Again need not show receipt

HTC/Dopd U1000 : brick phone while flashing, cannot bootup, phone dead. Unit bought AP in KL - I sent in to Spore Harbour Court - motherboard replace FOC. Somemore got warning never to flash phone again

I have quoted these experiences several times - and I always say be HONEST when you send in to claim; don't try to bluff your way. The technician is smarter than you and whatever you try to hide your root/flashing , they know all your tricks

Basically I've flashed it to the 1.5ghz kernel, hopefully nothing will go wrong with this rom.

sent my sony w800 enter lidat oni,(dun ask why, that time this phone is the best phone to mod with biggrin.gif ) din even ask receipt or wut
sent my nokia n96 coz camera prob, i juz bring my phone, they juz ask wuts the problem, never ask for receipt or wut also, then they replace my motherboard foc, confirmed it when my imei changed lol

Install a software call gpsfix. Run it before run papagox5. It will lock down and when papagox5 start you can use it. Hope it helps
