Hong leong bank wise card is preferred if you have min 10x with min RM50. 10% cash back compare to titanium is only 1-5% Max cash backRecommendation for Credit Cards V1, TQ to contributors ! (From MOD)

Existing credit cards if any: UOB One, MBF, Giant Citi, CIMB Master World 5. Looking at CC from: Maybank 2 Cards 6. Others: Just want some opinions. Looking at using the card to pay bills online via M2U. Also want pay my card using M2U instead of banking in cheques to the other banks, since my main accounts are with MBB. Also thinking of cancelling the UOB one card and getting this 2 cards for petrol, rebate and collect points at the same time. Any suggestions on should I get Maybank2 cards or consider OCBC Titanium? |

Maybank2Card is basically useful for AmEx only. As it gives 5x treat points 24/7 and 5% rebates only during weekends. The VISA/Master Card is basically not useful most of the time. So, OCBC Ti is useful to complement the absence of VISA/MasterCard which is widely accepted compared to AmEx. |

I don't fuel at petronas unless really necessary so don't think I'll get the Petronas card.if you refuel at petronas, then go for the Maybank Petronas card. and the 2 cards have a combined credit limit. i personally think maybank cards are good for their treat points. Not very concern on the combined credit limit either as I have other cards with more than enough credit limit for me if I really need to swipe a large amount. What do you normally redeem with their treat points? Does Maybank has cash back like CIMB? Since there is an expiry on the points, can't just accumulate without spending. |

There's a dedicated thread for OCBC Ti in this section, please check out out. I'm on mobile now, so it's a bit inconvenient to paste you the link. |

Hi guys,
Would be thankful for your kind suggestions. Basically I travel overseas most of the time. Unfortunately my basic salary only entitles me to RM10k limit by Maybank 2 card even after applying for credit limit increment for 2 times. I would need a higher limit CC and provides more treat points on hotel payments. 1. Annual Income: RM50k 2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must. 3. Card required for: Mostly for overseas hotel use. 4. Existing credit cards if any: Maybank 2 card 5. Looking at CC from: Please suggest. 6. Others: Estimate to spend about RM10k/mth on overseas hotel. Flight tickets are bought by company. Would prefer a card which could give me the most benefit in terms of points. Thanks in advance! This post has been edited by m a v [3] r i c k: Aug 23 2013, 04:28 PM |
