1. have to send to SC to maintain your warranty. your warranty cover until 50k. so you have to go back until 50k. If you got extended warranty until 175k provided by alliance insurance then you need to go back to SC until 175k. Service it outside will void your warranty. The booklet can change once it finish. Don worry.  laugh.gif

2.No because it is wear and tear item for Air filter and Spark plug. For lub will void warranty. But most of us here don care. Some of us bring our own lub also. Don use cheap lub can already.

3. I am driving Persona not Elegance. Try check your crank sensor and ask them to check your ECU also. PE got ECU bug and need to flash to newer firmware. Go main Proton SC at your state and upgrade. Upgrade time i think is 2hours if no internet break down.

Hope this help you.  brows.gif

Added on August 14, 2011, 2:06 pmHi guys..
There is this car waxing shop in sunway mentari that i have visited b4 last time.. Shop name is Maxshine.. Have visited them once b4 in May to polish my whole bonnet when they newly opened but prices that time was very expensive.. They are using Meguiar's product and their skills are on par with KC's technique of waxing.. No hacks at all and end result very good.. Now their polishing package is only RM38.80.. Very cheap for waxing and polishing and comes with unlimited car wash.. Definitely will recommend u all to try it out.

That means the front min is 70% VLT and side and back 50% VLT..
I bought RM145 only.. hehe..
Yeah.. The front can put around 65% darkness also still ok..
Wow the specs are very low for the IHR.. Y never get something higher a bit.
I think its Mobil instead of Mobile.. XD
No lah.. Judges are like that.. It has been since the English court system, where the judges are regarded as supreme being.. Its tradition lah.. Very lengthy to discuss in here.. But if u know the way how they were brought up then u will understand.

but TESCO brand very cheap, then you can change oil every 3k km if use mineral, someone here said before frequen chage oil will prolong the engine life. biggrin.gif

Frequent lube change DOES prolong engine life....but if the lube used is darn lousy wan with insufficient addictives to lubricate and protect the engine, its will shorten life instead...

Put it as 2 choice, use a more expensive lube that can confidently protect engine up to 5K or use a way cheaper lube that "MIGHT" be able to protect engine up to 5K...then change at 3K instead. Since we're already in doubt of that cheaper lube quality, you want to take risk that it CAN protect engine even at 3K....take your pick. brows.gif

The prob is RM50 also i dont have..

Ok talking bout the discovery i made somewhere around last week...

As we all know that Caltex is very good for high speed driving (above 3.2k RPM) and also gives a very smooth and quiet engine.. smile.gif

Esso gives the best overall balance of power and economy.. The low end torque (below 2.5k RPM) is slightly better than Caltex, giving faster acceleration in traffic jams and slow moving traffic, and better FC than Caltex.. biggrin.gif

Petronas is very good for driving below 2.8k RPM.. With the best FC among all petrol brands, but its low end torque and high end power is lacking compared to the above 2.. hmm.gif

So what I did the other day was I went and mixed 55% Petronas with 45% Caltex.. Voila, I have never got a better town driving FC that that!! My FC was consistently below 8L/100km... Rarely above it.. and on highway cruising at around 120kmh it was only 7.6L/100km.. But the best thing about it is the engine is very very smooth, and the acceleration was the smoothest and the best i ever experienced.. icon_idea.gif

After that i did the same mixture for Esso and Petronas.. Engine was rather smooth but not as smooth as Caltex + petronas, but low end torque was lacking, I had to shift down whenever i wanted to accelerate a bit faster or go up a small hill.. But the FC was even better! I was averaging around 6.4L/100km when travelling a 80kmh.. and in my normal daily routine of going around town and old klang road i got an FC of 7.5L/100km.. shocking.gif

As u all know the best FC i had doh.gif so far is with Esso and with the same routine im only able to achieve around 8.2-.8.5L/100km at best..

So u all go try it and give some feedback.. See if it suits all car..

Btw the Castrol Edge Sport 0W-40 engine oil is really good.. Even better than Magnatec.. My engine is very quiet and smooth.. The IAFM like issue was gone, so that means its the tappet noise that was actually creating all the havoc under the bonnet. Cold engine start didnt have any problems at all too.. All those standard dashboard rattling is gone and the car now feels very noisy due to wind and tire noise instead of the engine and rattling.. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif rclxm9.gif

Mobil has quite good review for continental cars.. But not sure if its good for our car..
Eneos quite ok lah.. No bad review.. All good ones so far.. Honda is using Eneos as its approved engine oil..
Sumo also not sure.. The brand is too fresh..
