mang at bottle it self already write design for BMW and mercedez, the oil design for perfomance car, use magnatec also enough no need waste money

i Thnik one of our member post this here last month and it get some of our memeber here fr** that.......
the statement means if oil turn black easlly means the engine oil help to clean the rubbish inside the engine, else if the engine oil not turning black it was useless and cannot clean the engine. so now lets THINK THAT:

1. Engine oil main function is lubricate the engine high speed moving parts instead of CLEANING function. When the engine turn black it measn the original oil molecule has change and it will not able to act as lube to protect the engine parts any more.
Exp: go to see your kitchien wok if the wok not was properly the cooking oil will become black and stick at the bottom.

2. When drain our engine oil if it seen in very black colour it means it the oil it self are seriously in poor quality or the engine is aging, els it must be engine failure and cause it over heat and create carbon.
THINK THAT: If our car are new and nothing wrong to our engine why our drained engine oil should seen in very dark black colour?

3. If the drain engine oil are look very dark black it said to clean rubbish from engine is true.
THEN: when our car has black smoke came out also the engine running self cleaning to exhaust out the rubbish from our engine is it true.....

yes but it dose have the different at our cold star event our lowest temperature are 28C but if compare to 5W are still thiner, thats why Castro call it Sport edge and they bring in 2 type 0W-40 and 5W-40 in different price.

magnectech rm 100 change every 5k km: 10k km = rm 200
edge rm 175 change every 10k km : 10k km = rm 165

rm200 - rm 165 =  rm35.00 saving  .......waste money

Please compare the viscosity at 40 degree C for 0W-40, 5W-40 and a more thinner grade 5W-30.

to be frank i never try the 0W oil yet     since Zeng and Xan here also not recomented and our Campro are enough rawh.....when using 5W-40 so not thingking to use it.

Even if you put VKool, you will also get toasted, just not toasted black. I'm using VKool Elite.

Use a windscreen cover to cover the front dash...works better.

PnP not dig the cylinder wall and change larger piston meh? then wat it should call ah??

PnP got few stage lah, if wanna make bigger piston also can lah...but same as for CKT after so many PnP sure need to insatall bigeer valve due to the angine block HOLE become bigger and LOOSE .....

Reading me makes me doubt Castrol Magnatec..

"In the additive package used in the manufacturing of lubricants, they have 2 main functions. They are 1. detergent package and 2. dispersant package. The additive in 1 is supposed to clean up all the "rubbish" like acids, carbon, rusts, water vapour generated from the combustion. Dispersant package is to disperse all the "rubbish" in the oil so that they are equally and completely disperse throughout/inside the oil. These "rubbish" if not disperse may clog or stick to the moving parts inside the engine. Also they may not be totally drained out during changing of the engine oil. Many people have a misconception if the engine oil drained out during the oil change is very black or dirty, the oil is not so good. Actually, the reverse is true. A good engine oil with good additive package will clear as much "rubbish" inside the engine during the oil change."

I also never tried 0W-40 and 5W-40. But from the recommendations from forum, websites and also the data from Castrol made me want to try it for my 10 K service later.

So, u are the one who download it! 

5W-40 still ok lah.. 0W-40 a bit too thin.. Our engine in our Malaysian weather mana boleh tahan..

0W-40 is Edge Sport and 5W-40 is Edge only. Both are fully synthetic.
Why you want to use fully to service at 5K? Isn't suppose to be semi?
Last week I saw 0W-40 and Magnatec 10W-40 Semi only at Shah Alam.

5W-40 I'm using it RM165 1 month ago.

Up to you lah. The data is in front of your eyes. Like I said, 0W-40 or 5W-40 is still SAE 40 grade oil which
performed nearly same at 40 and 100 degree C.

You can try Sierra Glow in Subang or somewhere, 5 years warranty, glass-based sealent protection...you just google it for more info. My neighbour just polished there for his new 2.0 Forte.

I'm using Magic Glare, a glass-plexin protection sealent but can last only 2 years before renewal.

in service book only stated servicing for 1K, 5K, 10K, 20K....etc etc....
so...can i do my 15K servicing outside?

No.. Make sure you use back Proton Oil Filter..
I service my 15k outside as well

also CoSE reject to reflash my ECU coz it says already updated version....
d funny thing is when i complain bout gear upshift and downshift not responding, he sez its d ECU     

now thinking of installing GC and VS....will it help??
