thanks for all your responses for my current problem,sorry for the late reply..the one last thing that i need to ask of u sifus..what are the methods i can use so that AT LEAST i can kick it out of the "connect to itunes" screen?coz at current state,i can do anything..cant restore,cant update..unless there is a method to restore that i didn't know of..so please please advice icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

I am using an iPhone 3Gs white. My volume button has dropped off about 3 times now & no, my iPhone casing isn't the cause of this nor is the way I use it. I was wondering if anyone else faces this problem.

First time my Lock button came off on the same day as my volume button. I got that both fixed & from then, only the volume button keeps falling off, lol! tongue.gif

Does iPhone 4 have this problem too? icon_question.gif

There is the DFU method to restore and I suggest you follow the guide in http://iclarified.com and choose the proper devices and you should have an idea.

remove your SIM, try pressing home button and sleep button for about 30secs until the phone restarts.

btw guys, in contacts, if we put the picture of the contacts using photo from camera roll, after we delete the photo will the photo in contacts gone too?

not working as it keeps showing this or it wont enter the DFU mode?
why don't you take the battery out and put it back again. assuming you know how to do this

Need help here. Recently I can't download nor update any apps from iPhone AppStore. Everytime I tried to download an app, it will prompt me "Unable to download", ask me to connect to iTunes on computer then I can download. But then i'm still unable to download from iPhone. Each time I need to download from pc iTunes then sync to iPhone it is really troublesome. Any idea why is it so?

hey mate.. wonder u got ur itunes acc entered correctly..?
or this is the case, my fren had been experiencing this also.. end up she found out that app store requires her 3 digit credit card pass in order to continue..

what connection do u use mate??wifi or 3g??it could be ur connection got problem...or it could be ur itunes account got problem.. hmm.gif

A noob question here~~~~
My iphone 4 got some problem lately, which is my home button very hard to press, wanna send for warranty~~ My friends say apple will never repair the iphone, they will replaced 1 to 1 to you provided a valid reason.

I wanna ask is it true?? Will Apple replace 1 to 1 to you or tey send it for repair??

My fren buy it from singapore and his phone blackout, send in warranty, then 1 to 1 replaced, just wandering is it Malaysia same??

yes mate..exactly the same..they will give u the replacement unit when u sent in warranty..but,they will replace it with refurbished unit..it depends on the availability of the stocks..if they have stocks for it u can get the replacement unit in 1-2 hours.

how do i update to my desire version for my iphone 4 (with jailbroken) ,my current version is 4.1 but i dont want update to 4.3.5 ..i just want to update to 4.3.3 only ..cam i do this ?
