im using ip4 maxis set.jb with 4.3.3. n my problem is push notification not working for apps such beejive,whatsapp ,viber etc..who know how to fix?already try push doctor but it showed half installed

just follow the instructions above. however i only see 4.3 and 4.3.5 there. no 4.3.3

u're also asking in the wrong section. there's a section specifically for iphones. this is for macs

4.3.5 is the latest version of the iOS 4.x family. You should use 4.3.5. Firmware older than what is posted at http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ , usually will not pass validation with Apple when you try and restore to them.

Unfortunately, I believe the only jailbreak available for 4.3.5 is a tethered one at the moment.

If you can hold off for a while, iOS 5 *should* be released soon - Possibly next month. It might be less stressful just to hold off till then.

exactly, besides ios 4.3.5 only update on its security features to avoid pdf exploit from hacking users iphone..not more than date..ios 5 will be release in September.. nod.gif

if you're from IOS 4.1 to 4.3 you will only be able to update your IOS to 4.3.5 because itunes/apple no longer recognize IOS 4.3.3

those who are using 4.3.3 right now probably updated their IOS before the IOS 4.3.5 released. like mine, when I bought my iPhone, its already using 4.3.3

and basically 4.3.5 is 4.3.3 except for a few bug fixes. they already jailbroken 4.3.5 but it is not tethered. means, if you reboot your PC, you will have to sync your iPhone to your PC and using redsn0w to kick it back in again. not a problem for me though

The jailbreak thread is closed so we should not be talking about the methods and guide to jailbreak. All I can say is that since you are already jailbroken at 4.1 then most likely Cydia has saved your 4.3.3 SHSH in their server (just check the top window in Cydia when you open it and it will say what SHSH it had saved for your iPhone.) which should allow you to restore to 4.3.3

I am old-fashioned, I still prefer to use T9 with my thumbs rather than tiny keyboards. Is there any way to turn on T9 on iPhone? If there are, what do you use?

You're not being helpful at all. QWERTY keys are only useful if you have all your 10 fingers lying on a physical keyboard, ready to strike on the keys. Using 2 fingers (or thumbs) to type on a QWERTY involves a lot of finger movements, a problem best solved using a T9 predictive input. I tried using iKeyEx but I can't seem to activate it properly. I've heard of MultiTap, but I haven't installed it yet.

Anybody else with slightly more constructive inputs?

Ok,long story short,i've managed to kick it out of recovery mode n now have the 3gs on 4.3.3 jailbroken untethered with redsn0w..now,new(or rather existing) issue occurs.

Currently the 3gs' baseband is 05.16.02..when i inserted celcom simcard,it seems that it cant detect the malaysian sim card, i.e. no My Celcom appear on the top left,i assumed its still locked..i already have the ultrasn0w in the 3gs,but with no effect..is there any specific baseband no.(for malaysia) that i should upgrade to the 3gs?? Current 3gs celcom users,please provide the modem firmware under setting>general>about..or is there any other way?? Sifus in LYN,plz advice

My iphone 4 JB 4.3.3 suddenly dont have text tone....i mean, i have all unlock tone, keyboard tone, dialpad tone, and incoming call ringtone, but i dont have text tone...when i receive new msg my phone just silent, and didnt even vibrate...anyone can help me? sad.gif

I have try reset (home + lock button), not working
I have try reset all setting=nothing
I have uninstall all JB tweaks= no change

when i click at setting/sounds/text tone/, i can see the list of tone..but when i click on them, my phone become laggy and no sound come out....

FYI, i been playing with this SSMV (System sound maximum volume)...i didnt do anything, my text tone just suddenly disapear
