all app goes the same..?
if only certain apps.. means the app u download crashes mate

try to run clean restore mate...use the latest ios version...see whether it still happen or not... 

can anybody teach me to restore iphone 3G 4.2.1???
i restore always Fail 1015...
Use tinyumbrella to kick out recovery also cannot...

owh, did u just restore it yesterday??all apps will exit when u open it?? 

have u try hard reset??if not try it(hold power+home button) till apple logo pop out..observe it...
or u can try to look on whether the apps that u install is compatible or not with ur current ios..

That's what i thought too..but as i mentioned before,are u sure there's a gevey sim that works to unlock a 3gs locked set??could u guide me where,coz already googled but to no avail.

is there any other way to know the ios,baseband,serial no. etc  given that i can't access them??

I have SB settings so i can see what application is running so i have all closed
and playing a game.  It closed automatically and return to home screen , i wonder is game itself.
But then i found out is not the game but everything no matter is games, apps , song, document, safari or any.
WHY?  what is the problem?

Need help here. Recently I can't download nor update any apps from iPhone AppStore. Everytime I tried to download an app, it will prompt me "Unable to download", ask me to connect to iTunes on computer then I can download. But then i'm still unable to download from iPhone. Each time I need to download from pc iTunes then sync to iPhone it is really troublesome. Any idea why is it so?

My iphone 4 got some problem lately, which is my home button very hard to press, wanna send for warranty~~ My friends say apple will never repair the iphone, they will replaced 1 to 1 to you provided a valid reason.

I wanna ask is it true?? Will Apple replace 1 to 1 to you or tey send it for repair??

My fren buy it from singapore and his phone blackout, send in warranty, then 1 to 1 replaced, just wandering is it Malaysia same??

Ok,long story short,i've managed to kick it out of recovery mode n now have the 3gs on 4.3.3 jailbroken untethered with redsn0w..now,new(or rather existing) issue occurs.

Currently the 3gs' baseband is 05.16.02..when i inserted celcom simcard,it seems that it cant detect the malaysian sim card, i.e. no My Celcom appear on the top left,i assumed its still locked..i already have the ultrasn0w in the 3gs,but with no effect..is there any specific baseband no.(for malaysia) that i should upgrade to the 3gs?? Current 3gs celcom users,please provide the modem firmware under setting>general>about..or is there any other way?? Sifus in LYN,plz advice

I found many ways but until i went to the phone shop.
So far i found out
a.  3gs behind the case will have (16GB or 32Gb) logo there.
b.  press and hold the home button will have the voice command thing
each person telling me different thing....
person A told me; those with voice command actually is a software, the phone is still 3G;  real 3gs will have the " S" behind the phone.

person B told me; nah, 3G also can put software to make it like 3GS , even the logo " S"  available after modified.

person C told me;  you can't identify which 1 is real just the seller is honest or not because they are many fake and because 3 g can make exactly like 3GS. 
What I can do ???

From Apple news, they said the assembling process has been completed but only will launch on mid of October and awaiting Apple to give them the actual release date.

how to transfer songs from iphone to pc?

sure or not? AFAIK, it syncs with whatever in your pc.
currently i got a new pc. i wanna transfer all the songs from iphone into the pc.

iPhone to your hard drive, without extra software:

1. Connect the iPhone to your PC. If iTunes starts syncing (ie erasing) your music automatically, hit the X in the upper right hand corner of iTunes display, to the left of the search box, to stop it.
   
2. In Control Panel, Portable Media Devices, double-click your iPod.
   
3. In the Tools menu -> Options, in the View Tab, check "Show hidden files and folders."
   
4. Navigate to the Music folder. On my 2nd gen 'pod, the full path is
   
5. private/var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Music
   

you should see a bunch of files name F00, F01, F02, etc…
All your music and movies are located in these folders. If you open F00 for example, you will see some mp3 files with names that don’t make any sense (see image above). It’s fine though.
Now move the “Music” folder to your computer. Depending on the amount of music you have in there, it could take a while.
