btw, his goal rate is low because most of the time he been played as right winger..last season he been shift to the center with suarez..they form a very formidable partnership...it still a mystery because KD seems change the first eleven although meireles & kuyt doing very fine job last season

Arguably yes, we all know for a fact that , its not his natural position. With Carroll , Suarez on a front run, I really hope Kuyt gets more up front role or just behind Carroll or Suarez (respectively). Not forgetting when the Captain fantastic returns, i'm wondering Kuyt's next role.

Can't wait for Bolton game. We have pretty good record against them. Hoping for another win on the card and keep marching onto top flight.

Kuyt.... he is just a true loyal servant. You put him anywhere he will tried to do extra miles. He may be striker but he never fail to preform his best when he in others position. I think Kuyt should not be our question for his way of playing, he already earn trust from us. Is same like JC, he may not 100% best defender but the work rate is sure 101%.
I can't blame him not scoring more goals but he did help us contribute goal to others players. Now i can see we won't have a always staring striker, judging from the players we have. We have many option and weapons, is not like previously where tores always play in and out. So he manage to bang many goals. But now I see KD will workout few weapons not solely depends only single player just what we did last time.
Anyway it is a great opening for us, since the time Rafa took over. It had been long 6 years?

Good luck to soto although i think he would have still been useful to us.Not many goalscoring defenders other than him and agger.

I still think we need a CB and a striker with the former more urgent.Striker can wait till january if its too late now.

Scott Dann, Cahill, Shawcross, has been linked with us. Potters told us to hands off Shawcross. If Ngog leaves us for Bolton, we could possibly get Gary Cahill in exchange + $

I think we might end up getting coates.Signing cahill is ideal but maybe he's a little too expensive as back up because our first choice is carra agger.

Still about 9days to go till window closes so hopefully we would have cleared poulsen, maxi and cole and brought in a cb.

Coates is on I suppose.

#LFC and Nacional have agreed a fee for defender Sebastian Coates. He should travel to Liverpool tomorrow to finalise proceedings.

Coates bid by LFC details - £5m rising to £8m in International app's + League app's. Well structured, 10% sell on.

shocking.gif there is no way we're gonna sell Maxi anytime soon. the ones that need to go are poulsen, degen, insua. plus i think Aquilani is going to milan, while joe cole might be going on loan somewhre.

Don't expect an easy game. I watched them against ManCity. They played well and gave a good fight. Not sure how many new players they have in the team, but they seem to gel better than our own squad at the moment. Reo Coker, Muamba, Eagles (x MU), Klasnic, Kevin Davies are all decent players. Hoping KD's tactic to come out on top again. icon_rolleyes.gif

He's going on a full season loan. I think this is a smart move, something like what ferguson did to cleverly. Good exposure..

I can't really say that Henderson performed badly. Though in truth we've got the same playmakers of Meireles and Suarez that thrashed Manchester United (and made their defenders look like dolls) the thing is that if you look at it sublimely, Henderson managed a convincingly acceptable amount of passes, even if he may be positioned-wrongly (having a football brain that isn't settled)

assuming we're playing with a 4def 2dcm/cm then Adam + Lucas pairing should work, although I'll say Adam is a suspect when reading the defensive game. However, somebody did mentioned that in the game against Arsenal, Adam + Lucas combined completed 50% of the tackles as well as a respectable 41% of interceptions (we're talking about Arsenal here who's playing the pass and move model for many successive games now) so I guess that assuming the remainder are done in within the defensive area, we've managed to pull off an impressive stat markers over previous performances over Arsenal in their home turf.

In regards to Aquilani, I won't want to mention much since he's still not yet featured, although I suspect in the event he did, we'll have to revamp the entire midfield formation to a diamond-strategy to suit Aquilani's most effective role which he played with much success during his loan spell.

Though if you ask me, KD is showing that he's got something up in his plans but he's not sure whether it works or not. As long as we're not playing a "false nine" (like how Manchester United does) or Barcelona I think we're in for a more fluid footballing games one box to another.
