Why got free jersey?

Just noticed that after all the hype and excitement about Ince's son, Tom Ince in reserves, we actually giv him leave on free to Blackpool. Wow?

well he needs games, and with both suarez and carroll around who both have at least 6yrs left in them, Ince will be 25yrs then and probably still wouldnt have broken into the first team.

Agree with you about the sales of Aurelio especially he is like a glass, so fragile.

However i do not agree on the sales of Meireles. A lot of people keep saying that our midfield is overcrowded but i do not think so. From King Kenny summer signing and from the pre-season friendly, i would expect most of the time King Kenny will play 4-5-1 formation rather than 4-4-2 formation which most of the fan wanted.

Currently in midfield we had Gerrard, Meireles, Cole, Henderson, Spearing, Adam, Poulsen, Shelvey, Aquilani and Lucas but i think that Cole and Poulsen will be sold out while Shelvey will be loan out. Furthermore i think Henderson will be playing more on the right midfield than in the centre position as currently we only had 1 back up winger only which is Maxi and during Valencia friendly King Kenny are placing him on the right midfiled.

This will leave us only with Gerrard, Meireles, Spearing, Adam, Aquilani and Lucas. Which i think is just nice which has 3 strong centre midfield as our 1st team and 3 strong backup in the centre.

Even if i agree with you on Henderson, there is still one too many.

out of the 6 person u mentioned, how many is willing to sit on the bench week in week out?Probably Spearing and that's all. Mind you we do not have european football for them as well.

Willing to stay on the bench or not .. tricky part ... as a professional player they should understand that a club needs depth and quality in their bench players .. they will be needed and what happens if they're not there to cover up when the starting eleven players were not available to play ? How are we gonna win the title if the players don't understand that football is a team game ?

Agree that Stevie and Aqua are fragile. But we have Cole (i really don't think ANY club is dumb enough to buy him even for free considering his GBP 90k a week salary) and Poulsen (same reason as cole only slightly lesser salary and older) and Lucas and Spearing. Even Maxi can play central from time to time.

As for Man City, We're not Man City. Our owners does not have the money Man City does. Coupled with the recent financial probelms in the USA, i only hope they could just maintain and not do a George Gillet and Tom Hicks fiasco. Rather than paying Mereiles and Aurelio their hefty wage to sit on the bench, might as well sell them when there is value. I think inter is interested in Mereiles. They are only waiting for the 2 Manchester club to buy Wesley before pursuing Mereiles.

U r rite! But KD is also nt dumb to play these 2 idiots.. Raul > Joe Cole, Jay > Poulsen, Maxi can b backup for downing but nt central role, it wil b disastrous.. To be honest I can't seem to c any chances of Cole and Poulsen playing in EPL these season, mayb Carling n FA cup.. Or the last 5 or 10 mins.. But I do expect Raul to replace Aqua in the 2nd half if Aqua gone b playing behind Carrol..

V r stuck wif some players, nt juz Cole n poulsen... There is stil Degen, El Zhar n Insua wic might b playing in the reserve squad (the worst case, n poulsen might b in these list too).. Hope so v could get rid for at least 1/2 of them.. Stil gt 22 days more b4 the transfer window closes..
