Agree with you about the sales of Aurelio especially he is like a glass, so fragile.

However i do not agree on the sales of Meireles. A lot of people keep saying that our midfield is overcrowded but i do not think so. From King Kenny summer signing and from the pre-season friendly, i would expect most of the time King Kenny will play 4-5-1 formation rather than 4-4-2 formation which most of the fan wanted.

Currently in midfield we had Gerrard, Meireles, Cole, Henderson, Spearing, Adam, Poulsen, Shelvey, Aquilani and Lucas but i think that Cole and Poulsen will be sold out while Shelvey will be loan out. Furthermore i think Henderson will be playing more on the right midfield than in the centre position as currently we only had 1 back up winger only which is Maxi and during Valencia friendly King Kenny are placing him on the right midfiled.

This will leave us only with Gerrard, Meireles, Spearing, Adam, Aquilani and Lucas. Which i think is just nice which has 3 strong centre midfield as our 1st team and 3 strong backup in the centre.

He may not be the best winger that we had but he is definitely now the best backup winger who do not complain when sitting in the bench that we had now. Therefore, i prefer him to stay in and provide backup to our team when our 1st team winger injury than selling him off now and leave our team exposed when there is an injury crisis.
