Last day for summer transfer window is always 31st August. Every year, unless when the 31st falls on a holiday, it is extended to the next working day.

Enrique is ANFIELD bound! twitter timeline flooding with news on that! well now for CB position with Dann or Cahill. Either one will be okay by me but Cahill is more suited to Carra's replacement.
Heard that Ngog also will be chased by Bolton with an improved offer. If he leaves we should really try to sign one more strike! Also Daglish and team looks to pounce on Fernando Gago within the range of 8m as Real look to offload him. Another defensive mid? well we already have too many imo but what the hell. If you have a solid Midfield, half the battle is won already |

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Aug 11 2011, 05:48 AM) Years on and yet, the memories are still fresh. There is no better illustration of how Hillsborough has affected the lives of our brethren. It is crucial that Liverpool fans in Malaysia read and know about what happened. |

Currently I'm happy with the squad. Regarding the massive numbers of midfielders we have, to me, its squad depth. Remember how we moan we do not have enough squad depth to compete? Please disregard Poulsen in my context, he is the only 1 I want to be offloaded.Strikers? We have enough strikers, 2 top class strikers, 2 back up - Kuyt & Ngog and not forgetting our youths. I believe we already have enough players to challenge for the cups. All we need now is tactic, teamwork, will, and spirit to win games. |

we need a central defender....carragher cannot play 30+ games a season...he's already 33 yrs old......agger and skrtel is injury prone and prone to loss of form....anyway we need someone to replace carragher for the long term and Per Metersacker ticks all the boxes. Strong, tall, good in the air, great timing of tackles, vision , very good international experience and most importantly consistent ...

Agger is injury prone, yes but if I remember correctly Skrtel is the only player in the team who started all BPL fixtures last season.

Skrtel is anything but injury prone. My critique of him is that he's a tad slow. Also he had a tendency to mistime his tackles and it's nerve wracking to watch him mark a player in and about the box. Also, he may be tall but he doesn't have any leap. Like I said before, he looks like he has lead in his boots. Having said all that, he is a reliable squad player who will come up tops against most forwards of Premiership sides.

we need a backup for Carra. Same character like carra, the determination, controlling the back 4 with his vocal.
Who will be the candidate? Seniority ? Local lads? or world class star footballer? |

Much better for the time being Once Enrique sign for Liverpool. Defence side would be look much better! Once any one of the back 4 sustains an injury, its No capable replacement for right and left back. Only have 1 ok centreback in Agger/Skrtel to partner Carra. Krygiakos is a dud....no pace, not great in the air, not strong enough.... This post has been edited by mercury8400: Aug 11 2011, 04:24 PM |

Kyriagkos is a dud? I recall we would have lost many matches if it wasn't for him as the last man (although he's also guilty of making the mistakes in conceding goal attempts that would allow our opponents to score goals.
