Isn't it built in? Just change the fully charged sound to a longer tune lar.

File is "TW_Battery_Caution.ogg" in /system/media/audio/ui/, just take any alarm sound file you want and re-encode in OGG.

u say "Just change the fully charged sound to a longer tune lar." like it's very common...

that aside, i don't want it to sound the same when i'm charging it in the office... sad.gif

Hi guys. I have one question it might sounds stupid but I want to know how can I know if my SGS2 has dual core processor? I mean in the phone cant find any hardware info that indicate that this phone has dual core. even I have installed all the benchmark tools and non of them shows it has dual core processor. it only show the 1200mhz and thats it.
where can see that?
*
install cf benchmark so far i only remember seeing 2 cores in that app

Lol, sorry. First encode any music/sound file you wanna use into OGG (I think high quality is okay kot). Then rename into TW_Battery_Caution.ogg. Then you pass to me using mediafire or something? I'll zip it up into a CWM flashable zip you can flash at recovery.

But yeah, unfortunately it WILL sound quite loudly when you're in the office when not in silent mode.

You can check at you System Info at your benchmark apps. CF benchmark, Vellamo and even Quadrant Standard benchmark apps will show SGSII are dual cores at its system info.

Hope this help :-)

It's quite hard to see in the film.
Why don't you try this dialler code *#0*# and try to any sign of the patch.
Or try download ScreenTest app from market and again test your screen to see the patch at the same place.

Good luck :-)

using the screen test code... can't see anything... that's what i did before i go away from there..
after back home.. only notice that...

In the end, you can always bring your phone to Service Centre and show your screen defect to them. Try ask for an exchange or at least the LCD screen to be change.

Good luck mate.

right, so the context is about the Voltage, not MHz.

i'm running 760mV stable with "ondemand". (silicons are binned differently, so i'm NOT suggesting your phone proc can do so too..).
the phone would freeze at 750mV as soon as it idling to 200MHz, 760mV on the other hand is rock stable, been running at this setting since last weekend without fail.
Ninphetamine authors claims that there's a software cap at 800mV, that any other reading <800mV are still held as 800mV -- if this is the case, then i wonder how is 750mV vs. 760mV should make a different?
none seems to be able to give me a reasonable explanation so far.
*
Maybe, your phone is just "sometimes" stable with 800ma, taking into consideration the softcap. Or maybe the softcap only works after a crash reboot.

Aka, set 760ma -> crash -> reboot -> softcap quietly replaces set value.

Not that I'm able to EVEN touch 800ma w/o crashrebooting, plus I'm running on effin unstable conservative, except when screen off and in call (200-500 ondem).

yeah its you only. i'll join a bit later haha~~, but as my 2nd phone. keeping this sgs2 for a few years. not worth replacing it. instead, adding another. tongue.gif need to get my hands on the tab 10.1 or 8.9 first.

Well, the class ranking works by their write speed...
Class 10 = 10+/-MBPS write speed
Class 6 = 6+/-MBPS write speed
Class 4 = 4+/-MBPS write speed

While the read speed, almost for all sorts of cards that i've tested, all would be around 20+/-MBPS
Wanna see the difference? Try copying an huge file (Like 2-4GB?) into cards of different class then time them... thumbup.gif
