I plan to flashed it to Litening Rom v4.1 XXXKG3 but how come it have only the PDA file but no Phone and CSC file?

So what Phone and CSC file should i use with the Litening Rom v4.1 XXXKG3 so that the WiFi is working fine good and connection is good and also my sgs2 is run stable?

Thanks

you don have to.. just add the file in PDA directory n flash it.
the file was come with modem+csc file.. everything was compile in 1 file..

Currently my sgs2 is leaked version firmware 2.3.4 KG3 but the WiFi is very poor or have problem compare to before this my sgs2 is original firmware that i just get my phone last week.

Some rom files are compiled in just one TAR file - in this case you just choose this file as PDA, eg Litening file 4.1 after extract is just :
Litening_Rom_v4-1.tar.md5

Just leave the Phone n CSC blank ; and DO NOT select repartition

the battery life is getting horrible after flashed to 2.3.4(even after flash to speedmod kernel)

maybe wipe is a must after every firmware flashing

Weh, was asleep lar sayang lol.

@Bugeca: Any success using ANY OTHER sound files renamed lidat? Plan to use a custom boot up sound.

@Nicegi: 200/850ma in Nymph is my "sleep barrier" too. Though I would like to remind all that Nymph (the non-workaround one) RUNS 25MA LOWER THEN WHAT'S INDICATED IN SETCPU, so be careful.

Yeah..if you want to customize more, you have to purchase the app..
So basically the free version is only the lockscreen + 4 fixed shortcuts.. nod.gif

I have got everything in place. the superuser and the cwm. The problem i faced now is that my gallery opens so slow. sometimes it takes about 10sec at the "loading" before i see the photo folders. trying to see if reverting the action helps or not.
*
~~ lol ~~
You just upgrade your rom right.? It's always slow when opening gallery for the first time especially when you have tons of pictures. Just keep on scrolling until all your images appear. Then the next time you open gallery should be more faster and smoother.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 27 2011, 07:46 PM)
gallery slow open is usually due to some images are corrupted. Try checking each of them, It is definately not related to rom ; if so many users will have same problem
*
Yes, Uncle Benny right. Check if you got corrupted images frankgan. Delete it and then opening gallery should be faster.

I haven't try but if you rename any sound file including the type case, it should work - logically. smile.gif

Based on my experience, I can vouch for Andida -it is one of the better, if not the best medium priced batteries. I have been using this brand on my HTC HD, HTC HD2, Google Nexus . I have also used those cheap types ( US$5 range)  and all fail me after few months use - cannot be charge anymore. Buying these dirt cheap batteries, I'd advise you charge it separately on a external charger as I suspect the quality of the power cut0ff builtin chip ( if there is any )
*
Benny can you explain a bit more about charging the battery with external charger is it danferous to my phone just bought a andida myself. and this.....
