QUOTE(sunnyboy @ Jul 19 2011, 12:14 PM) i bough the hdtc adapter...how to use it? 1. Plug the HDMI cable from the TV to the HDTC adapter.i plug all the cable, even the charger...but nothing display in my tv.....do i need to setup in phone? 2. Connect the HDTC to the phone's microUSB port 3. Plug in the microUSB cable (charger/power) to the HDTC. 4. Remember to switch on the charger ... no power to the HDTC, no display. 5. Remember to switch the incoming input on your TV as well to get the picture. (e.g. HDMI1, HDMI2, etc) No further settings required on the phone. Pretty much plug and play. |

QUOTE(xavier7 @ Jul 19 2011, 01:09 PM) Anyone of you sent in your sgs2 for warranty claim at samsung? If yes how was the service? I'm worried they would do more damage than remedy the issue lol... i did.previously my unit and earphone got problems and they gave me new earphone on the spot and change mobo for my unit (within 1 and 1/2 days).yet my sgs2 still behave the same next day and the culprit is my sim card I'm sending it for warranty due to the ear speaker having symptoms like it's blown randomly when calling/receiving calls. sorry samsung i gave u bad rep but their service is excellente now enjoying flashing like others This post has been edited by rayzy22: Jul 19 2011, 02:44 PM |

QUOTE(c010 @ Jul 19 2011, 11:50 AM) 1. XWKF1 is stock rom, not that optimized though. thanks c010!!!2. depending on which kernel you flash to root. there are various way to root without changing the stock kernel 3. get your phone rooted, install titanium backup and backup your apps. after flashing to new rom, root the new rom then restore your apps via titanium again 4. if you are flashing via odin, all apps will be wiped. backup first before you flash. some custom roms are non wipe version, but i think you better stick to stock rom 5. you can download stock rom from samfirmware.com. usually it comes with 3 files, code=pda, phone=modem, and CSC. PDA is refer to rom base, phone is refer to radio/modem (wifi, network signal and etc) and csc contain the supported languages. please read instruction on how to flash the rom via odin first, understand it clearly before proceed. I wonde Is it possible to upgrade the PDA and Phone, and still using the old CSC? I'm afraid the csc doesn't compatible with malaysia network |
