white is awesome. but a bit slippery feel at back case. dunno easy dirty or not. but i guess not lah. the plastic was solid. not cheapo one that can easy stain dirt. the black also nice. solid looking. even the speaker hole in black too. haha..

hmm...if like this i think i'll get white one XD the 1st sight i ady like white...if i buy dy teach me how to overclock and put apps ya XD i never touch android or smart phone....this might be my 1st android smart phone. XD

most of the x5 users were non-smartphone user before getting x5

It's a will-not-regret phone until the next best-bang-for-the-buck phone comes out. 8 months ago it was the LG Optimus One. 6 months ago it was Samsung Galaxy Ace. 3 months ago (till now) it's Huawei Ideos X5. So, unless one can wait, should just get X5

Next best budget phone will probably the Huawei Vision...

Settings > Wireless and Networks > Enable packet data or something similar. Maybe the owners can give you the exact wording.

Don't put in your SIM card on startup. When I bought my previous phone, it was enabled by default, and the phone language was in BM. I hard a hard time disabling it, and I can see the EDGE logo at the notification bar. Money trickling out while I searched

guys my phone stuck at the boot screen, its rooted and nothing else. any idea on how to fix it ?

n heavy usage (same but add heavy gaming n on9)

want to save battery...turn on edge data. plus minus changes only 5% for whole night..

got mentioned b4 in this thread..haha~ they said can last long more than a day with keep playing games and online..lol!

flash back the ori rom

1. Download
http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/down...CUSTC38D001.zip

2. unzip & copy the whole files including dload folder to SDcard
3. Push Vol Up & Down + Power to enter update mode
4. Wait until update finishes
5. Pull out Batt
6. On back the phone

I use super One Click root to root ... it just work fine
