hello there, can anyone suggest suitable laptop for my friend?

1. Brand = any good brand as long its not an acer/sony/lenovo
2. Budget = price ranging from 1.5k-2k... can add bit more..depends on specs
3. Specs = intel cpu with amd/ati gpu or amd apu.. for university purposes..heading over to UK so hope to get a reliable brand tht wont die after 3 yrs...
4. Size = preferbly 15"... tend to stream movies online...

any recommendation is appreciated thank youuuu

guys and sifus!!! what is the famous laptop model nowadays? so lazy to surf internet around.

any brand for suggestion
budget between 1.5k to 3.3k
13" or 14"
as long as can play recent need for speed. which need good graphics. doesn't play NFS for a long time. dunno the latest news bout it anymore.

Usage? You'll need international warranty if you're heading over to UK... why not buy there? hmm.gif
Most Asus laptops come with 2 years international warranty as standard, but no 15" laptop for that price range....

Use the remaining money to extend warranty to 3 years, might come in handy, especially for a gaming laptop

i using DELL Studio 1555 laptop now, usually use for doing video editing!!!
now thinking wanna to upgrade, can anyone recommend which notebook is suitable for doing HD or SD video editing?

my ideal processor is 2nd generation i7
and price not more than rm 3500 !!!
if can, wanna get a 15'6 screen with FHD 1980x1080 (cause now my DELL also is in FHD screen)

With 1080p scren, pretty much XPS 15 or Sager NP5165.

Just received my Vostro V130 for mt sister lol. Build is solid, matte screen is good too.

Pretty much Sager in that range...
Cheapest Dell XPS 15 with Full HD, i7 and 9-cell battery upgrade would be RM4k

I wanna ask u guys another question. What is the best gaming laptop under rm4000? No acer as usual. Im jus curious,might be upping budget so i can use longer =) the alienware m14x looks nice,but over rm4000, so cant. Any under rm4000 tat has gud specs?

I did some research on dv6, turns out its quite a gud laptop? Decent built quality and cheap price with AWESOME!!! specs. I think i ditch the 3750 and go for this one hehe this laptop price is super attractive
