yea man, i wanted to get NP8130 but just wanted to compare with other brand to see if there is a better model and slightly cheaper

i5 should be sufficient though for gaming purposes with relatively less heat too

depends on what you're studying... certain courses requires CPU intensive programs

Roughly 15% performance. But still a staggering 40% increase in performance on average for the 'crippled' over the GT540M.

Some parts of the GPU have been reduced in functionality and disabled to make it weaker.

WAFFFAAAAAAAAAKKK??? So the Asus N45 actually has reduced performance from the GPU? Why the hell would they do that? Saving costs?
Pure ones are expensive is it?

lets say pure ones are 60% stronger than gt 540m...

the criplesd ones are stil at least 40% stronger than gt 540m...

It's the slight reduction in performance at this price or paying RM4.6k for the full version in the Alienware M14x..

Holy shite. I'd rather get me a i7 with the crippled GT555M.
I mean, sure, you get amazing GPU power, but the the CPU power is just ridiculous at that point.
