Added on July 18, 2011, 4:21 pmwho oldy paid loan agreement legal fee to TnC. pls get the proforma invoice for the break down. refer to the invoice, the lawyer charge us 100% of the scale fee ; refer to Solicitors' remuneration order 2005, under 3rd schedule no.C, the lawyer should charge us 70% of the scale fee. which mean the lawyer had overcharged us 30%.

So basically if he gave you a "discount" which was not really a discount because he did not follow the SRO (which only allows him to bill you 70% of the scaled fees).

dear all, do must get the invoice break down or call note of charge. then we can appeal for refund together.

Added on July 21, 2011, 3:51 pmJust signed the S&P, waiting for LA, i bought mine on June Block A-15 @ RM310k with 10% bumi discount + 4% for not taking the DIBS scheme.

May i know our S&P and LA fees suppose to cover by the developer right? So we just pay the duties only is it?

SnP fee covered by dev, LA fee need to fork out ourselves.

By the way, who was your appoint lawyer?

I manage to get the invoice from TNC.
But the breakdown is not clearly stated. He grouped few items and charge them.
Does anyone know how to calculate the legal fees so that we can know how much he is overcharging us.
