Forgotten one important thing to get the thing booting up .. FakeSMC!!! That is needed for the OSX to bootup on Hackintosh. Added on December 14, 2012, 12:27 pmLLL went back happy today Anyway, his problem with booting up from HD was due to the boot 0 : Error, and this is due to the new HD format. We used the guide found in http://www.tonymacx86.com/25-boot0-error-official-guide.html. Here is the captured CUI commands that I've used: On the GT520 GPU, we used the kexts found here: http://www.osx86.net/view/3005-asus_nvidia...in_lion_...html Added on December 14, 2012, 12:35 pmOh .. BTW, the work around causes the Hackintosh seeing the HD as external HD. I believe there is a workaround this .. but since his box is 100% working now, no point of pursuing to fix appearance issue. No problemo LLL, glad you've working hackintosh now. One thing about getting help online/discussion board, we need to be precise in describing our problem.. otherwise, it will turn to be not helpful. I'm not really good in this stuff, but I would say that I'm a google expert .. haha.. stuck, google, tried, stuck, google again.. patient is numero uno. For us now, we don't really hack anything .. we just install the OS .. the real hackers have done most of the jobs for us

I also build my first Hackintosh from ground up. With just google and trial and error. Sometime forum cant even help. Remember when I first tried my OSX Lion Build, took me 7-8 hours to get it up. Had to connect to my HDMI TV for the first boot. My LCD dont have HDMI input. Salvage my wife USB keyboard because I am using Apple wireless keyboard. But the satisfaction is there..

managed to dualboot win7 and mountain lion quite easily from a fresh install. have to thank the hard work of many people over many years which allowed me such a painless process, lol. specs: intel q8300, asus p5p43td pro, ati hd4670. process: boot usb unibeast, format 2 guid partitions - 1 mac journaled, 1 msdos fat, install windows 7 on fat, install macosx, run multibeast->easybeast. easybeast might not bad the best(?), but everything seems to be working fine .

AMD rig will be hell to make hackintosh, even if u could run ML after so many try and error passing through kernel panics, there will be tons of other problems emerge. i.e sound not working, ethernet not working, wifi not working, display, bluetooth, usb etc...
