both VGA and DVI port working, HDMI not tested
On board Intel X4500 only can be recognised but unable to have QE & CI
3. on board sound card working using voodooHDA kext, driver from multibeast 5.0.2 doesn't work
4. Generic brand bluetooth dongle
5. Dlink DWL-G155 wifi dongle
6. USB keyboard and mouse on a Dlink KVM
7. Sleep not working though

Installation method:
using myhack 3 installer is a breeze , unlike iboot and unibeast where you need to start from SL installation.
Post installation using multi beast, DSDT
This board ( all G41/ICH7 board in fact ) has no AHCI SATA mode, I have to use enhanced mode in SATA mode.

Difficult part:
1. Getting a Mac for USB preparation
2. This board has problem booting using Chameleon in USB, I donno why. I stuck in this problem until I found myhack method, tried kakewalk does't work either. My install method was correct, the Chameleon USB was able to boot in other PC, like HP desktop and Gigabyte P35 borad I tried

This is the system I'm trying to get.

1. Intel i5 3470
2. Sapphire HD7750
3. GA Z77M D3H
4. Kingston Hyper X 8Gb DDR3 1600Mhz
5. Normal PSU 600watt
6. HDD and DVD used old one

I would like to know if this system works?
Can Mac OS support ATI Radeon? or must use NVIDEA GeForce?
If so can recommend one the price and performance almost same as HD7750?
How bout the others? Everything ok?

Planning to install both Mac OS and Win.

Already look into wiki, but don't see any of these come out.

1st problem, the mobo has VIA audio, so, may need to find out how to get it working.
2nd problem is the GPU, it is not supported too .. so you may need to change to some other GPU

For 1) I would suggest to change to other gigabyte motherboard that have realtek audio. Like my current one which is Z77P-D3
for 2) Ya. ATI 7series all not support now. U should get either Nvidia 6XX or ATI 6 series.

How to upgrade your hackintosh with Moutain Lion 10.8.2:

1) Backup or Clone your existing ML HDD
2) Download this AppleACPIPlatform.kext from HERE and then put in on your Desktop
3) Download Kext Beast from Here
4) Download the OS X Mountain Lion Update v10.8.2 (Combo) from this Here and install
5) On Chimera boot screen use -x to enter safe mode.
6) Run Kext Beast to install the AppleACPIPlatform.kext after finish. Reboot
7) Walla.. U successful update to ML 10.8.2
8) Update your audio kext or other kext using MultiBeast if needed

Just successfully updated to 10.8.2.

Update 25/09/12:
However, the freeze at boot is happening at random, quite nasty.
Already did AppleACPIPlatform.kext rollback, doesn't quite fix it.

I would suggest others to hold the update first.

Other than that, things works quite well.

Your build seems to be okay, the only thing that I'm not sure about is the USB3 and Firewire. You could always refer to the success builds found in tonymac forum. We couldn't help much in helping you deciding which to go since many of us have different hardware and some like mine is a year old technology.

undecided between 220, 520, 620..wanted to take the 620 coz its a newer card and all the hype that ml's native support for the 6xx series..still can't confirm it though

Guys , planning to install OSX in my desktop for Final Cut pro etc etc Mac only software.

My spec is shown as Siggy but i check tonymacx86 Motherboard list only got Gigabytes board but mine was Asus..Will this be compatible with?

Your specs should be okay. Just use the BIOS found in http://bios4asus.blogspot.com/ .

Just aware my ssd and casing ques haven't get suggestion yet.
Like Tonymac always recommending corsair casing but lowyat not selling it.
Any alternative recommandations?

SSD and casing are not that important in building hackintosh, just use whatever you want .. most SSD are compatible with Mac OSX, just get the latest batch and you're okay.

Casing, you can choose a chap-ayam brand or one that cost thousands, it doesn't matter as long as you can fit the motherboard, graphics card and HD/SSD into it.

yepp, read it already..it's just that i've never seen/read someone actually installed mountain lion using this card

guys wanna ask.....so i'll be trying to do hackintosh.....so i got 3 hard disk....2 500gb 1 1Tb...so the first 1 500gb i will install windows 7 and the other one a hackintosh....the 1 tb is for data for the windows 7....so the question is what will happen to the 1 tb if i boot to hackintosh? does it detect the drive.....if yes will it corrupt my data that i stored from the windows 7??
