Anybody with yosemite can confirm that USB3 working? I've just realised my card reader uses USB3 and it doesn't work right now
-- Update: Forgotten to install the USB3 from multibeast, did that and my card reader is now usable again This post has been edited by wiraone: Nov 27 2014, 05:28 PM |

Guys, before you start your venture into hackintosh, compare the specs with available iMac, MacMini or MBP variants. If there pricing is not that much different, might as well go for the Apple stuffs rather than having a headache later on. Specs your rig, compare, and decide.

It means that the OS couldn't load. What OS you're trying to run on your MB? BTW, Hackintosh thread is for those who're trying to install OSX on other non-Apple platform. You may want to ask this in different thread to get attention.

QUOTE(RacingTech @ Jun 23 2015, 04:36 PM) Hello guys, I just got my first hackintosh build using my old pc EP45-UD3R but I wanna ask, how can I update my Yosemite without it become unbootable later. My current Yosemite is 10.10.3. Make a copy/clone of your installation into another drive/partition and boot from there when you've problem. I'm using carbon copy cloner before but it is not free anymore. |

QUOTE(Fukme @ Sep 29 2015, 06:25 AM) Hi guys. Check this:I'm planning to build my own hackintosh. Budget is around 3500-4000 myr (without monitor) Looking for i7 6700k ( if possible lulz) processor with 16gb ram. I7 4790k should be fine tho. Mostly will use for video rendering. Photo editing (LR, Photoshop, Illust, FCP ) What are the best rig u guys could suggest to me ? Thank you http://www.tonymacx86.com/building-customa...ml#CustoMac_Pro You might not get some of the things here like the RAM etc, replace them with a good brand and you'll be okay. Just make sure you're getting the supported motherboard and graphics card, they're the two most important ingredients to get your hackintosh running with less headache. |
