Why paying RM200 extra when you can do it yourself? I believe someone is doing the same service locally too, just check the FB link posted in the first post.

MacOSX can reliably read/write FAT32. So best to create a FAT32 partiton in your third drive if you want to share your files across. There is a limitation though, you can't have > 4gb per file. Another is by formatting the 3rd hdd into ntfs and install a third party driver on Mac to read/write into the hdd.

Do you realised that your doesn't have TRIM support line at all? It seems that the system doesn't recognise your SSD as SSD?

edbod, my suggestion before you're doing yours is to google for the correct keyword, try "Lenovo Y480 hackintosh" or "Lenovo Y480 tonymacx86". As you may expect, there is no single all-work-out-of-board laptop installation other than on the real Macbooks.

Ya. Already upgrade to 10.8.3. Got some hiccup after upgrade. Cant boot and stuck on Apple logo. After some troubleshooting, make to get it from by disable vt-d in BIOS. My system is as per my signature below.

Upgraded my old P8Z68-V Pro setup and it went smooth, just need to run Multibeast for audio and TRIM support.

It work...i think if u r beginner on hackintosh  u need a lot of time to do it.
Yup, to get started, I would say .. search for the existing guide(s). There are quite a lot, go and find one specific to the motherboard/graphics card, that will surely ease things up.

The benefit of constructing Hackintosh your self is that you can construct a very powerful desktop at not so expensive cost.
Most Intel mainboard can be use I guess and than get a I7 CPU (8 cores)
but the problem is graphics/sound card driver...I haven't got my sound card working yet and the graphics is still 1024x768.

That is the reason why following the guide is quite important when doing your selection:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/344-building-cus...april-2013.html

Bad thing, most Z77 Gigabyte mobos available to us here are using the VIA audio chipset. Though there are few that are still using Realtek (like the Z77 HD3).
